    We were lucky. The tree split and one part landed along the fenceline and the other on the storage shed. I hope there isn't too much damage to the shed. I am waiting for the guy to schedule removal while hoping nothing worse happens with all this wind we are having.

    One side is more for close ups and the other for distance. Hard to explain but it works. As for eyeglasses/prescriptions, they just adjust the same as when your eyes need different specs for each eye.

    They gave me options of lenses put in with the cataract surgery ( don't mean eyeglasses, actual in eye lenses, so one side is more for close vision and the other is more for far away. Doesn't everyone have options?

    Ate them all the time growing up. Wouldn't touch one now for anything. I like them, just not tearing up my garden. Usually, they just bury their nuts in the dirt without messing anything up much. This one feels the need to rip all the plants out of the container for some reason.

    So much for a container garden this year or ever again. All that money and work for nothing. I caught squirrels digging all the new plants up and scattering the dirt everywhere. Oh well, I am getting beyond all that work anyway, I guess. I shall miss fresh cukes and tomatoes though.

    I called about 20 dentists, they all say the same. It isn't the same kind of pain that numbing would help. It is eardrum pain from the high pitch noise. Worst of all is it caused some hearing loss and in fact I couldn't hear out of one ear for over a month. They refuse to do a manual cleaning...
