    Prodigy vs Xhaler

Keep in mind that comments on the Prodigy (especially the switch) refer to the V1, which you can't order any longer. The V2 (pre-orders start soon) is now stainless steel construction (whereas the V1 was aluminum) and a new mechanical switch.

    Usb pt

Yeah... either a wall adapter, powered hub, or portable power pack like the Kensington. When looking for one, make sure it puts out at least 1A (1000mA) If you want a top-quality USB PT, take a look at the Puresmoker PT. It costs a LOT more than the typical one, but will probably last longer...

    Usb pt

The danger isn't to the PT or the USB port. It's to the motherboard. If the PT shorts out, the motherboard can be toasted. It *has* happened before. Likely? No. Possible? Yes. Why take the chance?

    Usb pt

Those with an in-line battery will run at 3.7v. The atomizer will be powered by the battery, and the battery will be recharged by the USB source. Those without an in-line battery will run at the same as the source, typically 5v.

    Usb pt

I second not actually plugging it into your computer. You also have to make sure that your USB is providing enough power. The source should provide at least 1A. There are a lot of them out there that only supply 500mA-800mA. A benefit of using a PT over batteries is constant voltage. Every...

WAIT! The Protege is a 3.7 and 5.0 device?????

I think the only thing that could come close to 2A (and not sure how close) is the PS PT with a 510 atomizer. I use mine at 1.5A and am satisfied.

WAIT! The Protege is a 3.7 and 5.0 device?????

Yep... USB connections will typically be 5v. It's the amperage that varies. You'd definitely need one that supplies at least 1A, with best results at 1.5A.

WAIT! The Protege is a 3.7 and 5.0 device?????

But... and this is a large but... if you are only planning to use it on the pass-through, why not get a PS PT and save some cash? If you want to be able to use it at 3.7v as a carry-around, it makes sense to buy another and the USB insert, but if not.... just sayin'.

    Side effects of vaping PG

As a smoker, I used to get upper respiratory infections often... like every month or two. In the 9 months since I started vaping (and I haven't had a cigarette) I haven't had a single infection. Whether that's attributable to the PG or just not inhaling cigarette smoke, or both, is up in the...

Electronic cigarettes under fire for targeting Arizona kids

He said the e-cigarette helps people kick the real habit. “It is the same as the patch or the gum. Actually, we add the vapor to it. The smoker gets the sensation, you feel you smoke; you trick the mind,” said Hakak. Not only did the salesman make health claims saying the E-cigarette helps...
