I got some vapemail today too. Some "liquid electrical tape" - gets painted on the soldered contacts in my box builds, to stop corrosion and also helps to insulate. It's used mainly for marine purposes, but I've seen a few modders use it to. Will come in handy for when I do a home made...

You know me too well Trisha  I've not used a 35mm for a while now. Last one I used I borrowed it from my Mum, took me ages to suss out how to use it - too many possible adjustments on it. I do like playing with gadgets, but I forgot to pick up the manual when I borrowed the camera :lol...

:lol::lol: The Wife does the gardening. I do have some space in there, for my fishing gear, but not much. I'd love a vape shed, don't think our garden would be big enough though - I'd need to pinch the neighbours garden too

By the time I'd fixed them, they would probably have antique value  Cheers Dave. You want to dive in mate, it feels great knowing it's something you've built yourself. Are there any bits you still need ?? I've found a few different places now for different parts. Why not start off like I...

I wonder if it's later stock. I know mine came with the serial number I could check at nitecore - don't know if they still do that with the genuine chargers or not. Just checked back, I've had mine for 18 months now.

Cheers mate. I'm really enjoying it now. Think I'll be moving on to a regulated build pretty soon. Then possibly a regulated squonker :D

So here's my latest creation. The "blue dragon" is belching out vapour  Finished it off this morning. It's a very, very tight fit. 1oz tobacco tin, dual parallel batteries, Mosfet and 15k resistor, orange voltmeter, FDV 510 connector. I had to add extra insulation at the battery tray, cos...

I got the i4 from FT Bob. Been using it without any problems for well over a year now too. Usually I end up charging batts for a full day, I normally wait until I have 8 or more to do at a time.

The Sister-in-Law is over from Canada at the moment, so we've been spending a bit of time with her the last couple of days. Had a good day today though. All the Wife's family got together, we went ten pin bowling first, then a Carvery afterwards - I'm stuffed now  14 of us altogether. The...

I'm hopeless with cameras, as you can probably tell by my pictures  With my new found soldering skills, I'll have to start repairing dead mods. I've told a couple of blokes at work that have the 20W iSticks, once their threads strip on the 510, don't throw them away - pass them on to me...

Spot on with the price George  I'm still at the unregulated stage of building yet, but I'll be moving on to a mod with a chip very soon. Just got a new soldering station with adjustable temp control, so that will make a big difference with the box mod construction. cheers for that mate...

It's a dear piece of kit though mate. It's a genuine one, I could have bought 2 FT mods for the price of the one chip. I'd rather have the satisfaction of building my own mod though ;)

I've had a major spending spree mate, so I can't even afford half of one now  Just spent a fair wedge on some 3D printed mod housings. Then bought a load of battery clips, 510's, magnets, switches, an SX350 chip and an SX350J chip from modmaker.

It will be good to see it in all it's glory :D. I'm a fan of red mods too, the Hana and my Reos are a lovely shade of red. Oh my, there'll be no Dragonscape left for anyone else Trisha  If I was in the market for another BF, I'd jump on that one Bob. I'm looking into modding one of the...

Is it this one Bob ?? $23.79-$24.50 (Ships from USA)Smokeless Owl Style Bottom Feeder Mod - Black Looks like a cracking price mate. I'm really happy with the Geyscano one I got, now I've got a decent atty on it. It's taken me a couple of days to get as far as I have with the mod making. But...
