George I see on the News that the National Trust have just spent £1 mill on the last piece of privately owned land on the Great Orme, I used to go up there a lot when I was a youngster.

I used to work in Llandudno two days a month. And go up on the Orme in my lunch hours, nice up there.
There's some old copper mines dating from way way back.
Nice place Bob,i'm glad they're caring for it.

Yes it is, used to like going up on the cable car (used to be one of those shock machines near the entrance ), also liked to have wander around the Happy Valley as well, and fishing off the end of the pier using one of those H shaped fishing line thingys, can you still get them?, whilst watching the Ferry come and go.

No problem with wood or concrete floors, just if you have carpets.
Thanks Bob :)

:) Happy days mate.
I used to stand on the Orme and imagine it without the town below. It must have been absolutely stunning .
I like Llandudno, bit more to it than that dump Rhyl.

In fact Bob,i'll be having a night out in Llandudno in October.
Just booked tickets to see Steve Hackett(ex Genesis, guitar player).

Wasn't called Venue Cymru when I was up there, can't for the life of me remember what it was called though, probably been well poshed up now, was a right dive in the old days.

Only went to Rhyl on a Sunday for the beer (Ship Hotel mainly) and sometimes the funfair.

Was thinking future proofing
Any safety advantages from having 2x2's rather than a 4?

'This green and pleasant land' ...how long for!

We've only been to Wales once: Prestatyn. We took the boys to Pontins when they were still quite small ...was a very cold and damp week too!
One lasting memory that we all have is going along the coast road past sand dunes, and seeing a sign that said 'brown salad' ...we all saw it - next time we went past, we saw that it did in fact say 'blown sand' ...now that's an example of the hazards of speed reading

George lives a bit too far away to have felt anything, and it was only a 3 on the richter scale, slight rumble

Didn't know about it 'til Trish mentioned it.
We had a power cut this morning tho  That's called entertainment around here.

I'll be happy if I find I can get the same quality of image that I got before I broke my camera and lens! (the replacements I got didn't! - it's probably the second hand lens I got...I hope)
I liked the Hana too - dead as a doornail though!

I'm hopeless with cameras, as you can probably tell by my pictures

With my new found soldering skills, I'll have to start repairing dead mods. I've told a couple of blokes at work that have the 20W iSticks, once their threads strip on the 510, don't throw them away - pass them on to me instead, I might be able to re-use the chip, buttons, screen etc

...and that sounds very familiar to me! It's got so that evenings are the only times I feel pretty sure of getting enough calm and quiet to be able to concentrate on work ...4am has been too often in recent times. Wrong time of the day to work, so not very productive either! I must find a way back to my normal working hours.

Simple solution, kick everyone out of the house and deadlock the doors

Oh but i did Bob ! ;)

Terry sees all and misses nothing

Also the M Vapes dual 18650 wooden mechanical box mods are available. Not bad for £90 I think. All hand made and nicely finished in a variety of woods.

M-vapes Wooden Box mod own creation - M-Vapes

Just wish I had a lathe Adam. That's something, I'd love to do, build my own wooden box mod. Don't think the Wife would be too happy about it being on the kitchen table though ;)

Ian and i love to have a wind up sometimes, like george say`s if you can`t have a bit of fun, what`s the point.

Who was having a wind up. I was deadly serious mate :laugh:

That's two mods i was interested in ordering. The mini VF and the SMY50.
Sat checking FT out for a fortnight waiting for the stock date to become nearer. Then spotted the torches on both.
It ain't important really, would just prefare them without.

Bit of insulating tape over the lens George, soon sort it out

Bob was wondered how this was going on the other day.
Just received an email which contained the attached.
Still a way to go on signatures. So please if you haven't already, go to TW and join the protest.

The Sister-in-Law is over from Canada at the moment, so we've been spending a bit of time with her the last couple of days. Had a good day today though. All the Wife's family got together, we went ten pin bowling first, then a Carvery afterwards - I'm stuffed now

14 of us altogether. The Mother-in-Law asked for discount at both places and managed to get us an extra half an hour bowling for free - now't like cheek

Not really, except that you have 2 lots of things that can go wrong, I have 2 x i4s that have served me quite well over the past year or more
I got the i4 from FT Bob. Been using it without any problems for well over a year now too. Usually I end up charging batts for a full day, I normally wait until I have 8 or more to do at a time.
