Thankfully the worst of it was maybe 6 hours. My shoulder is still a bit sore at the injection site but I was back to normal the next day.
We have our big audit coming up at work in the next month or so. We have them every 3 or 4 years, and it's hilarious how every single time management...
I'm currently off today with vaccine effects. Got Pfizer 2 before work and it was totally fine until noon today. Randomly acquired a nearly 100 degree fever and all the body aches and tiredness of the flu without the headache/nausea. Doing better now after the ibuprofen kicked in but still kinda...
It is rather nice compared to our previous standard size bottom freezer. Ignoring the handles it's only 3" more shallow, but it "feels" a lot smaller while having more interior space being taller. Combined with the double doors it's much easier to maneuver between it and island.
The counter...
My wife refused a regular side by side that was $1000 cheaper, what're ya gonna do?
Thankfully I live 4 minutes from HD and around the corner from a local Gilroy's. Forgetting something isn't the worst but still rather frustrating.

I do also. Hello fresh still has you doing all the prep/cooking, so you feel like you're doing it. There's just a bunch of hand holding with spices and the recipes are fairly simple. Everything has been tasty and some things got us out of your comfort zone and trying some new things that my wife...
Yep, we're still using hello fresh. Ends up being $55/week for 3 2 person meals.
We've had a few issues that have been handled easily and satisfactory. One was a package of chicken had a hole that leaked juice all over inside the box, another was scallops that were already turned when we got...
Got my appointment today for Tuesday before work. The health department sign up thing indicated J&J was going to be available one day and Pfizer the next, and I accidentally signed up for Pfizer. I would rather have had the 1 and done and not had to make a follow up appointment but oh well...
Outside of my sister in law having a couple bad days after Pfizer #2 and a friend having a bad night with the J&J, everyone one I know has been side effect free outside of like arm soreness.
I don't really care whether I get it or not. The only reason I want to get it is we can raw dog oxygen...
GM is pretty much saying hell with it and telling us to register with the health department. I registered a few weeks ago and haven't heard back yet while most of the people I know have already gotten both shots.
I tried registering at the few local pharmacies and either they say I'm...
Sounds about right, between burning all his vacation and excused/disciplinary time off.
It helps him a ton that he's friends with our boss outside of work. He'll randomly roll up to the boss on Monday saying he's not feeling like working and leaves for the week. I'm honestly not sure how he...
Probably pretty well without the soreness of the daily grind. Lol
I'm like that also, gotta come to work to pay the bills. I'm down to just mortgage/car payment and utilities.
I take all of my vacation days every year, but there's some people that I swear work harder dreaming up machinations...
We have 5 paid sick days per year that are use em' or lose em', but most folks blow through them by February.
We've got our share of folks that between FMLA, sick leave, and personal leaves show up maybe 10 days per year to make eligibility dates for bonuses and collect the week of holiday pay...
If you get paid for the sick day, why not. We'll probably end up having to use our sick days for vaccine related side effects if we want to get paid, but our Local is trying to negotiate us short formal leaves of absence.

Nice. My sister in law said the second shot kicked her .... for a few days with fatigue but it wasn't any worse than a cold.
We were supposed to be able to get the vaccine through plant medical in the middle of March, but I'm assuming since MI is opening up to everyone 16+ April 5th they won't...
Yeah that's nuts. It baffles me that despite all the evidence of harm reduction it's being treated like the most dangerous thing.
I didn't think it would go mostly unregulated forever, but damn.

It makes me wonder if local brick and mortars can continue to operate. I haven't dug into it besides knowing I won't be able to order stuff anymore, which is a shame.

Congrats Roth!
A couple coworkers and I would hit the range every other weekend and burn through 300-400 rounds back when 9mm was $9/50.
Of course the year I have to renew my CPL ammo becomes impossible to find. MI requires you to refresh on the laws and show marksmanship practice when you...
From my understanding, it's a combination of an initial covid related slow down on manufacturing, hoarding (akin to toilet paper, buying way more than you need because you're worried you won't be able to get it in the future), and worry over gun control legislation what with the "civil unrest"...
Ouch Roth, hoping for your speedy recovery.
The last few times I went to the range, they had tons of ammo available in the store with a 1 box per day per caliber limit. I went to sight in my AR over the weekend and they were wiped out. Everything was behind the counter and they'd only sell you...
