An Apollo would be great! I'm already familiar with the build deck thanks to the Calix! I want in on this. Thanks for running these giveaways :-) Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

I find I had terrible trouble with contact NiFe48 coils, getting the hot spots out. You really have to work the coil, dry firing it out of TC mode to glow the coil, compressing it with ceramic tweezers, and there are still hotspots, so then you have to strum the coil. Eventually it will glow...

    Dicodes box mod coming soon.

I have both. The 18650 version performs indentically, but has a smaller screen and the format of the display is slightly different, but the menus are the same. FWIW I got 2 days runtime off a single 18650 with my UBattMin cutoff set at 2.5V, running a TC setup. Pretty good I thought. The 18650...

    Worried about lung damage

Also Becki, I read back through the thread, and see that you have an iSub tank. This tank has fully adjustable airflow, via a ring near the bottom of the tank that you can turn to close off the airflow. I mention this because it sounds like you directly lung inhale. If you are sensitive to...

    Worried about lung damage

Hi Becki, Off the top of my head, I recall that juices from E-liquid UK shop supplying e-liquid, e-juice and e-liquid concentrates from the UK are 80/20 - that means they are 80%PG. They do a juice called Red Astaire that is like a cherry menthol eucalyptus (cherry tunes) sort of thing that...

    Dicodes box mod coming soon.

How's everyone getting on with their Dicodes boxes? I had an existing Titanium build in a Taifun GSL that performed just fine on the DNA200, but which gave a very weak vape on the Dicodes. I correctly let the atty cool down to room temp and did a TempInit Calibration, and the resistance read the...

    Dicodes box mod coming soon.

I stuck the Calix on mine, with an NiFe48 build and I'm having a grand old vape. You get used to the menu system quite quickly, and I'm very happy with the vape consistency and build quality. Thanks Creme de Vape :-)

    Dicodes box mod coming soon.

Although I haven't received the mod yet from PB Dampfer (and I can't wait) I grabbed two MNKE IMR 26650 MH46698 3500mAh batteries. I am reliably informed these are decent batteries

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

Will I think 570F was just the TCR being out and me having to use an offset. I am using the Efusion DNA200, and also the DualSX SX350J. It's the same on both, and I don't have problems with other wire types. Additionally a friend had exactly the same problems with the CW SS430. I'm absolutely...

    By Leo : Attys, mods, Drip-tips, tanks [CLOSED}

Anyone else notice this about the Calix? When using larger gauge wire, I'm having problems with the angle on the back of the screw heads pushing the wire out. I'm using 26AWG (0.4mm) NiFe48, and with temp control you really have to make sure you have solid contact, so you need to really torque...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

I'm glad I'm not the only one having this problem. I have a dripper setup with dual coils which I haven't used for a month, and I've absolutely no idea what kind of wire is in it. I suppose when I settle on one wire type this will become less of a problem, but I'm of course experimenting between...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

I am having a good experience with my first 26AWG NiFe48 coil. It's a 2mm ID contact microcoil, 7 wraps and the DNA200 reads it at 0.21 ohms. I put it in my Erlkonigin, and the cold resistance is rock solid. You can really torque down the post screws and the wire doesn't snap. The Erlk is a good...

Do you have a main vape device or do you use multiple devices?

My mod count is 10, and I use them all. If its pouring down with rain and I don't want to risk getting a regulated mod wet, I'll take a mech out.

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

My zivipf NiFe48 26AWG has arrived. Steam engine suggests a TCR of 0.004036, but I read #GeorgeS post above suggesting a TCR of 47. This doesn't seem to make much sense, unless this is a NP offset. What chipset are you using GeorgeS ? I will be using either my DNA200 or SX350J chipset depending...

What was the hardest part of transitioning for you?

The hardest part of transitioning for me, was the transition between factory-made cigarettes, and RYO tobacco, because the rollies lacked some of the nasty chemicals I was addicted to. Actually the transition from rollies to vaping was incredibly easy.

Cool vid from ECF member @qorax!

As always Qorax, nice job. Always talks sense, whether it be his amazing thread on the Erlkonigin pictorial, or in his videos. Qorax your favourite attys seem to be aligned with mine, and I think you would really like the Taifun GSL, which is a rich flavour atty. :)
