What type of coils? Begginer question

Aside from the minimum resistance the istick will work with(0.15 to 3.5 ohms for regular coils, 0.05 to 1 ohm for temperature controlled coils), the compatible coils are coils that are made for the tank you are putting on the istick. If it is a temperature controlled device, it can use nickel...

The US companies will close, but the Chinese won't.

Any atomizer that doesn't need coil replacements?

This. All coils wear out. If you want to be cheap, you rebuild. Rebuilding is far cheaper, but takes time and effort to learn. If you want the convenience of "just throw it in and go", premade heads are for you, but you pay significantly more for that convenience.

Any atomizer that doesn't need coil replacements?

Buy an RTA, learn to make your own coils, rewick with cotton every so often, redo the coils once every month or few when it needs it, and enjoy the money saved. The reality is most coils could actually last A LOT longer than they do. It is either the wick that gets funked up and doesn't wick...

    Burn

What was the ohm rating on the coil? How many volts did you run it at? If you just cranked up the voltage, it is possible you burnt the coil.

    Reuleaux RX200S TC Problem

What resistance are you running with the new setup? Is it still the 0.26 ohms? If so, try building with a higher resistance. On my plain rx200, I notice that it kicks out of TC and into wattage mode A LOT if I run under .3 ohms. It has yet to kick me out of TC with a build of 0.4 or higher.

I typically don't. I was simply using them in one post to point out the difference. I prefer using #mg.

    Question about nicotine

He is correct. He did not use percent(%). He used permille(‰). 12‰ is the same as saying 1.2%. Permille Conversion Chart (Fractions and Percent Converter, Percentages And Parts)

    Rookie Mistakes

Don't feel bad. Most people use 3mg or 6mg with sub-ohm coils. A simple rule of thumb is the lower the ohms, the lower the nic content in the juice. High nic juice is more for high ohm devices that don't give off a whole lot of vapor. Since low ohm devices vaporize far more juice, you will get...

    Questions

To be fair to the shop, if you are in the USA, they are pretty limited on what they can do. The FDA really did a number on them. I am pretty sure they aren't supposed to let people sample anymore, and the shops around me refuse to build any coils for people anymore. Sad state of things.

    New to ecf and vaping

It is likely just showing the amps at the coil, not the battery. For example, if you are using 100 watts on a .3 ohm coil, the coil is getting about 5.5v at around 18.2 amps. If your batteries are sitting at 7.4v in series, it is drawing 7.4v at about 13.5 amps(not accounting for inefficiency).

    HELP!! to much flavoring!

To the OP, if you don't want to try mixing as Rick suggested, you can look into any places that sell fit supplies and see if they carry unflavored juice in your nicotine level or within a few mg of it. If so, you can just buy that and add some of that straight to the overflavored juice and...

    Hello from the Missouri Bootheel!

Yeah...non-factory coils have that effect. It's pretty amazing how different the flavor can be. Eventually, you might end up like me with more tanks than fingers, and be rebuilding for all of them. Right now, my favorite tank is the Griffin 25. after you build your first coil, you're probably...

    Personal support

First off, welcome aboard. Second, there is no magic number for what wattage is safe. If you try running 20 watts on an old ce4, you are going to have a REALLY bad time. If you try running 20w on something like a TFV4(for perspective, I am currently running my TFV4 with the quad coil at 110...

    Mixing juice

If you just want to make the 6mg into 3mg, your best bet is just to buy a 120ml bottle of 0mg and mix the 120ml bottle of 6mg. This will make 240ml of 3mg juice.

    Quick Question About Batteries

It isn't recommended, but many people do it anyway. I admit that I often charge batteries unattended and often times overnight, but i take special precautions in doing so(sorry, but I dont have the 10 hours it would take to watch my flashlight batteries charge when they go flat). At my house...

    Disadvantages of less expensive mods

If i remember right, the kanger will only do 0.05 in temp control. That being said, since it is a variable wattage mod, i dont see any reason to go even remotely close to that low with a kanthal build. If i were you, i would try just getting the hang of things with basic coils and run them...

    Hey MTLers $1.50 18650 mod

Actually, that protected battery is probably much MORE dangerous than the 20 amp high drain batteries. It is likely not a safer-chemistry battery, and, as such, could vent explosively if the circuitry fails and it is run too hard. Safer-chemistry batteries(IMR/INR) are made to vent in such a...

    Help t150 check atomizer

What is the resistance of the coil you are using? A quick search says that the t150 needs it to be 0.2-3.0 ohms for kanthal, and 0.1-0.5 ohms for nickel. If you arent in the right range, it should give you the error youre getting
