    Funny part is ..... I still use that "old gear" every day .. all day!! Got my Mako Midi (forerunner of "the Don") in 2010. and it will probably last another 10 years. us old guys know how to enjoy life.

    Yup .... junk those protected batteries They are too long. You want a battery that is an "unprotected" safe(er) chemistry. Like a HG2 or even a 25r.

    I don't own a mod that is only a year (or less) old My Mako Midy is now 10 years old & still works & looks like new. My Provari (V1 but a slimy sleeve) is 9 years old. And my Caravela (#162) is 7 years old.

    I'm a dripper at heart, and dripping atties get hot. So whenever the atty get hot ... I switch to another mod & atty. I have 8 setups sitting in front of me ATM.

    I'm a long time "low wattage" vapor. (~2 amps) That said, I choose which MaH cell to use by how far I will be from a charger today. If I'm sitting at my desk, and the charger is off to my left ... who cares what the NaH is!! If I'm going to be out of town for the day, I'll pack a 3000 MaH cell...

    Not used pods, just poorly made pods. Just like with a new drop in coil, it has to prime. If the pod doesn't prime, the wick gets burned. Rocket Science

    Samsung 25r vs 25c

    The only thing that comes up on 25c seems to be LiPo cells. So I have no idea what battery you mean. Now 25r-m cells are quite common. The "m" simply means that they were made in Malaysia instead of Korea.
