    Why do horses who have shelters stand in the rain and looks sad? Go figure. They'll live. It is rain/snowing here but should not be below freezing all day so off I go to my cleaning job. Have a lovely winter solstice. The days start getting longer tomorrow.

    You want to talk cold front? 15 degrees here and probably won't go much above freezing for the next three days. Yuck. How is everyone else doing with the cold spell. I know it is even colder some places.

    Thanks Lilac. You have a great day too. The weather is gorgeous today so I decided to do some burning. The big horse pen is now officially cleared of most of the brush that was in there. I also decided to make sure that Tanka the new horse got some attention and some work today...

    I really thought that it would go to 11 degrees again last night but it only went to 22. I way overfed the horses on that basis so I gave them not so much this morning and I am making them eat what they have for the rest of the day.
