More puppy, or is it poopy, pics -

Leo at the vet today. Three weeks ago he was 28 pounds, today 39 pounds. Growing like a weed -

Here's a shot with Santa. Previously, the vet had a Santa and "professional" photographer but not this year. So we went to PetSmart. They didn't have a photographer so we had to use my phone and the photos didn't come out that well. Had we known I would have taken the Nikon with us.

He was really good at the vet in spite of getting four shots. The vet even asked to take him in the back to meet the technicians that haven't met him yet. Bo was a big hit there, too.

PetSmart was a zoo between Santa pictures, training classes and shoppers for Christmas stuff. Leo was very well behaved and didn't make a fuss at any of the other dogs. He did get to meet a few and was very friendly with them. The one behind us in line for the Santa picture had some serious aggression problems and the owner had a very hard time controlling him. Leo just sat and ignored the commotion being made. He was like herding cats trying to get a decent picture. He was fascinated by Santa's beard.

Thank you D

Thank you Ducklady. I really like this horse. He is very sweet. I have had a bit of a scare with him having a bit of a snotty nose but I think he will be fine. There has been a virus going around, from what I have heard.

Good morning, Voltmaniacs.

A bit of a snow storm here. Melting fast, thank goodness.
I hope he is feeling better [emoji3] poor guy.

Good day, all.

Leo is a cutie.

Thanks Lilac. You have a great day too.

The weather is gorgeous today so I decided to do some burning. The big horse pen is now officially cleared of most of the brush that was in there. I also decided to make sure that Tanka the new horse got some attention and some work today.

Unfortunately, I still have to clean pens.

I also want to take Tanka for a walk.

Double post
The post so nice it posted twice.
Had to go to the hospital this morning to see the vampire after a fast. Made a beeline to Steak & Shake for breakfast, coffee and a vape. All was well once I had my coffee:)

Normally I do too. Fasting makes for a rough drive to the hospital about, 15 miles away, and waiting wears thin on my patience but it's something I've got to go through every 3 months.

'moanin, Volties.

The cold front came through overnight ab left a dusting of snow. Just on the grassy areas here, but snow never the less. The wind is pretty high as well, gusting around 20 at ground level. Cold looking out there with the snow blowing off the roof. It is that time of year though even though winter hasn't "officially" arrived. I watch the sunrise/sunset times and sunset has actually gotten a minute later over the last two weeks. Hmmmm?

Leo didn't know what to make of the snow. I took him out and he stopped at the edge of the sidewalk, which was clear, and stared at the snow, then sniffed it and tasted it, trying to figure out what it was. He wasn't really very happy with it and wanted to get back in as soon as he did his business.

So cute, wait until Leo sees just how deep snow can get!

Good morning, Voltmaniacs.

Tanka is doing well. Unfortunately, the weather stinks so I probably won't get to work with him today but I will get to give him some hugs:)

Pony is doing a little better and I hope he will keep improving. He is getting more confidant and less nervous.

I guess I will finally get the house straightened up and some vacuuming done.

We had a "cold front" move through. Only supposed to get up to 72 today. It was 84 yesterday so that's quite a drop. Saturday we'll be back up in the 80s again. Watching those fronts they seem to swoop back up north in stead of coming across like we've got a wall that deflects them. I'm sure our turn will come in Jan.-March but for now it's pretty nice here.
