    I do not boil them. I have never noticed a funny taste ever with them. I take one pad and split them in half. I have tasted funny cotton in the past. No idea what was in the wife's jar in the bathroom when I used them all up. Then I bought the organtic pads and hid mine. LOL

    Cotton Bacon normally through the coil. Vertical animizer rebuilds I use "Swisspers Certified Organtic Cotton Rounds" from Walmart. 100 in a pack for $3.29. Cellucotton I use occasionally if having trouble wicking a certain tank. CHEERS!
