    Not to derail, but have you tried any of the newer Kanger coils for the Subtanks? I never minded the squared-off horizontal coils but I know lots of people had problems. I did hate the square vertical coils. I found the newer, cylindrically-shaped coils to be way better (esp. the .5 claptons)...

    Amen. I liked Mister E-liquid when I was still buying store-made stuff, but I've long ago passed the point where it all tastes terrible to me compared to my own stuff. If I have to buy store-made stuff these days in a pinch, I almost always have to cut it down or try to "fix it" in some way.
