    HOTCIG DNA200?

0% chance its not an authentic chip, they clone stuff fast but not that fast, and not a chip that complicated. Interesting device though, already have a homebrew 200, or else this would be on my "keep an on eye on it" list.

NEW YIHI SX MINI ML CLASS!

Given the vast majority of Chinese companies (even large/solid ones like Yihi) can't even proofread/de-chinglish their press/marketing materials, no idea how they'd be able interact/answer questions on a forum. Will be interesting to see what their software looks like/does though, more options...

Champix and Zyban have stopped being dangerous

They did try and the FDA were going to remove it until "consumer watchdogs", i.e. sane people, made a big deal and got it stopped.

Where does the hate come from?

Like Bad said, they threaten the bottom line of 3 of most powerful entities on the planet, Big gov't, Big Pharma, and Big Tobacco.

    SBODY Macro dna40

I can respect that, but may i ask why? Minus being tethered to either lipo or dual 18650's, it's far superior to the DNA40 and much more future proof, and you don't have to run it/use anywhere near 200 watts. I run a .16 single @ 23.5watts @ 440f (50w .5 sec preheat) in an rda on my homebrew...

    SBODY Macro dna40

Hmm, can't say i've ever heard of it doing that in VW mode (non temp). My advice would be to contact the vendor/return the unit. You may also consider getting verified and jumping in the VT200 coop (if the organizer will ship abroad) and spend ~$17 more to have the bleeding edge chip, though...

    SBODY Macro dna40

If its still working the original way (earlier DNA40's) the battery meter estimates the amount of battery left by calculating off the last wattage the mod was fired at (goofy way of doing it). Being that you're dealing with a temp controlled mod, the wattage can vary from puff to puff, so if...

How does DNA series regulate temperature?

DNA's (and all Evolv chips) do not use PWN, its a flat DC-DC signal, though i can see how what the chip does could be viewed as a form of pulse width modulation. Yihi's chips do use a form of PWN for the temp control but its still different than the PWN that we were used to back in the...

CVS is trying to steal our thunder.

Yep i bought nearly all my cigs at CVS before i switched a few years ago, they always had the best prices (aside from Tobacco shops). I wonder how much they considered the ancillary sales generated by selling cigarettes, ie the people who came in for cigs but also left with a soda, some milk...

How does DNA series regulate temperature?

It modulates the wattage up or down to maintain the set temperature, so it will continue to fire as long as the button is held down, but if conditions aren't right (ie proper airflow/wicking) it will likely be firing at VERY low wattage to maintain the set temp.

Holy crap, how the heck did you squeeze that in there? Well done!

LOL...yeah they definitely didn't walk across the street to Walgreens or the gas station and buy them...just quit on the spot...

Having problems with my ipv4s temp control. Please help!

Are you "setting" the resistance when you install the TC tank? Most (i believe) of Yihi's TC chips require you to "set" the resistance when you install a new TC coil, believe it is done by pushing the up/down buttons simultaneously. Best of luck!

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

That's accurate, on my homebrew DNA200 brick i stepped the battery leads from 14g down to 16g and hard-soldered the battery to the board since i didn't have any xt60/30's or anything similar on hand at the time, the 14g definitely would've been a bigger pain. Better safe than sorry i...

Boxer Mod 200W with Evolv DNA200 Temperature Control

Wonder if they're concerned about the battery +/- leads getting pinched against the 510 threads at their top bend and causing abrasion/a short, otherwise i'm struggling to see any issues with their wiring, looks pretty clean/everything where it should be.

    VapeCige Vtbox200

It will vape straight out of the box, but you'll obviously be using an older version of the firmware. Don't believe there were any major bugs in the earlier firmware versions, but the newer firmwares have cleaned up a few issues and added the 2s battery support, so probably a good idea to...

is Vape-A-licious Juices at it again?

Welcome to ECF! They lost their "registered supplier" status on ECF (for non payment) and were already having huge order delays (insert various excuses here) over a year ago, so i'm left to assume they're a vendor to AVOID. Plenty of good options out there these days so no reason to mess with...
