Same switch as the iseason, they do interchange. Just haven't had time to take pics yet. Sadly that is only thing that interchanges from the iseason mod.
Okay here is the pics. MKB on the left and iseason on the right.
The spring in the iseason on the right has been upgraded to a much beefier one I had in my stash of springs.
The Iseason switch is very similar but not the same as the MKB. The MKB threads into the tube where the Iseason uses a nut on the back to hold into the mod. Haven't had a chance to see if they would interchange yet. It does have a gold spring but feels softer than the MKB spring.
I'll try to...
I removed the center pins from the adapters and left the insulators intact then slid a short piece of .114 diameter brass rod through the center to eliminate the extra connections.
I used an ego adapter with a 510 shorty adapter and it worked great. I also removed the slots in the top of the shorty so that the air draw would work as it should. Also the ZAG works perfect on it too....:D.
I haven't had any real issues with mine yet either. The only thing that bugged me was that the switch was a little loose so I wrapped a very small piece of .002 brass shim stock around it and now it is nice and smooth and feels solid. I did experience a voltage drop through the stacked...
I bought an assortment pack at Buy Sheet Assortment Brass Shim Stock Sets (406-0074) from UseEnco
I'm sure there is other places that have it and maybe cheaper. I have an account here and it was easier for me just to get it here.
Most off these switches are to loose in that the center pin that slides in and out of the collar (part that mounts to tube) don't make good contact. With that said the spring becomes the contact point for pin to collar. If said spring is small it can't carry the load from battery to ground. I...
Got it unpacked and this thing is nice. I am impressed for a china mod. Compared to the EA mod I had I like this better. Although stacking adapters seems a little wonky it is solid. I used a a short piece of .114" diameter brass to make my pin. Fits perfect. Under the little brass is a tiny...
Actually there is piece of 3/16" diameter brass tubing about 1/2" long inside that the rod from the switch contacts. Been working 12hrs, 6 days a week and haven't had a chance to finish my drawing I want to post.
How did you do your board to fit into the pipe or did you you assemble and wrap everything? I have to so try this in a pipe. In fact I bought a ugly pipe on eBay to make a 18500 powered pipe out of that just got volunteered for this project. I haven't been this stoked about a project in some...
