My point was "why have 200w in temp control?". I just assumed it would throw the power at it until the temperature cutoff which should be instant. Both my SX Mini and my even cheaper IPV D2 just won't go above the 50 Joules.

You also dont get dry hits and are supposed to have more battery life. I dont use temp control because I like surface area, claptons, etc. But during the short amount of time I did use temp control, it was very beneficial for using an RDA while driving.

Should that matter though? The point of these 200w temp control devices is supposed to be an instant ramp up time. Thats the claim anyway. I don't know about the RX 200 but on the DNA200, pBusardo said he sets the watts at max and uses the temperature for adjustments.

The only problem with that is, I would be recommending older gear. I know people want to call me a snob because of my stance on these products but I trust almost nothing cheaper that has released since last spring. The market has become too saturated and china seems to care too much about...
My issue is those cheap devices aren't what they used to be. When people used to buy cheaper devices, it was something like an MVP which is built like a tank and showed green, all the way across in the accuracy tests. Now China is pumping out mod after mod without much R&D and often times...
People are speculating it might have been a battery issue but nobody knows for sure. But i do know the Reuleaux mods has some pretty thin wiring.
RX200 blew up at my local vape store? WTF?? • /r/electronic_cigarette

A $600 mod is going to consist of a hand crafted collectors piece. Its a niche market. But a $150 to $200 mod is very reasonable if you are buying a DNA or ProVari and not a Hohm Wrecker or the price of the Snow Wolf when it released.
And here is the newest cheap Joyetech device that everyone...
There shouldn't be any perspective about it. The Chinese market is devaluing high quality mods and creating threads like this one.
But shame on me for defending higher quality mods and posting charts explaining the differences right before everyone brought out the flame throwers.

You mean like when I downed the chinese quality control of the Wismec DNA 200 that I own and showed people how to fix it and prevent owning a potential brick?
Or was it the time I posted about my friend almost burning up his whole family when he plugged in his 50w iStick to charge?

I'm in a thread created to .... on other peoples mods but I'm the one who is biased? Its alright though just so long as you support the cheap stuff. How could a $160 to $200 mod ever be better. How could a $50 mod only cost $50 because that is all its worth? I am not the one firing the shots...
Both. Research both boards and tell me which is better. Hell. If it wasn't for the DNA 40, china wouldn't have been able to clone temp control.
Now I'm not trying to talk down on what people used to quit smoking but threads like this are uncalled for and these are not 1:1 products. Its like...
And im sure you got the same generic responses that i have. Meanwhile Vapor Shark is actually at these meetings with the FDA. Not Joyetech. Not Sigelei. Not eLeaf. Not Pioneer 4 You. Those companies are only out to undercut the people who care and make as much money as they can before the...
Nope. But did it with the DNA 200 much better. Even if i dont like temp control. I hear YiHi's SX350j V2 does support it though and has software similar to eScribe.
And good job avoiding the serious point about advocacy.

For $10 more your joyetech isnt nearly bas accurate, doesnt buck/boost nor do i think its DC-DC in wattage mode and temp mode.
I also don't believe Joyetech was presenting to the OMB and FDA this past week to fight for our rights and save this industry. VaporShark was there though as reported...
This is from their website.
To our valued customers and partners,
It is with deep regret that we here at asMODus will no longer be offering warranty services for all versions of Pioneer4You products as of JUNE 30th 2015.
Although we were contracted by Pioneer4You to provide warranty service...
Did you bother contacting Evolv? They guaranteed the DNA 40 for 12 months.
And even $25 would be a hell of a lot better than your typical throw away mod which most people own.
