I love that store, they are very nice people. I was there with two of my sisters in law a couple weeks ago and bought them Subox Nano's.

I am torn when it comes to vape shops. I do understand when a B&M would need to charge more. But I don't like paying it.

So as a innerweb hobbiest I like to order off the innerweb.

But as a ex-smoker I wanna help other smokers.

Which means I let myself get bent over from time to time.

We forget on the innerweb that the names we sling around like Reo, Provari, Sun and a host of others are names that 99.99999999% of smokers will never hear if they live a thousand years.

The 99.999999999999% live in a world of Innokin, Sigeli, IPV and so forth.

We argue about 200 dollar mods. Clone VS authentic.

The 99.9999999999999% screw a Subtank on a IPV, both of which may or may not be clones and don't smoke anymore. And they are happy.

Today I am vaping on a VCT Mini I paid 29$ and a Kayfun V4 clone I got for 5 bucks. For 34 dollars I'm vaping on a setup I would have either killed for or spent 400 bucks on a year ago.

Soon I will fire up my high dollar SX Mini M class, screw on my authentic Squape Rs and try and convince the world without a 200 dollar mod they will have to smoke.

But for now 34 bucks is a sweet vape.

Hi coolerat------how have you been------been awhile since we seen each other at the vape shop.......

what is your current vape favorite mod/atomizer/juice ?

I went into that same vape shop you and I were in---and bought a Nautilus Mini just to play around with.

I already had the full size nautilus from march of 2014......but liked the looks of the mini.

I did not like the draw it was 2 tite....and so went to YouTube and watched videos.

I found out how to take off the base and remove the AFC control ring and then I drilled out all 4

holes to one eighth inch and put it back together with out the control ring and wow it is a lot nicer now.

I can lung hit this thing.......View attachment 514568

Cool to see a couple Central New York folks. I works in Syracuse for many years, before retiring and moving to Florida.
Currently, the Orange are getting their butts kicked by St. John's.

You got out just in time.

This Winter has been brutal.

They are saying it might get down to 50 tonite.

Exactly! And to add to what you've said- most of us started off vaping with nothing more than an eGo & it did just what it was meant to do- keeps us off cigarettes.

I don't ever see threads giving mad props to the devices that started it all. Instead we get threads like this putting down those "cheap" devices.

Note 5!!!
To be fair, this thread is pretty mild. Only a couple real offenders.

Maybe not by post count, but by poster count, I'm really not getting that vibe. I only really see 3 offenders.

Ironically, 2 of them find it insulting that I'd treat myself with something expensive.

Used to be the high dollar snobs being the majority instigators.

I started with innokin iclear b16 and a halo spinner..never knock the ones started it all..if this thread or others was posted then..we still would of looked at the over price value the same.. Vapor here are simply question there curiosity of, are less value device are better, most case and are higher value device worth it, most case.. Not the lesser value devices better than the greater..but I have read post about it and I have own some lesser value devices last longer than greater value ones..also had lesser value ones where quality was worth buying, as well as greater value ones..we all love vaping and see new devices come out all the time..shop smart and manage your budgets well when shopping..theres nothing wrong with the industry..the only thing wrong is they stop to banned vaping and the devices..so lets do our part by going and signing the petition..

I was up there, a few weeks ago, in mid October, to see my new granddaughter. I think it was the coldest weekend so far. Just my luck.

My issue is those cheap devices aren't what they used to be. When people used to buy cheaper devices, it was something like an MVP which is built like a tank and showed green, all the way across in the accuracy tests. Now China is pumping out mod after mod without much R&D and often times cheaper materials and or thin wiring. How many more IPV and Sigelei mods do we really need? And why is the Chinese warranty in so many cases down to 30 days?

Just wait. Were about to start seeing everyone start making their own eScribe clones all while shoving triple and quadruple 18650's in these boxes. Then when someone like Evolv makes something else in the spring, China will butcher that as well.

I just dont think the mass production of these things are making the market as reputable as it used to be. Now days when I enter a vape shop, I feel like I'm shopping for flea market A/V equipment.

Haha sometimes it's fun to laugh :D
I want a kabuki and a Provari someday. [emoji14]

I personally don't understand people spending thousands of dollars on provari's and kabuki's and authentic kayfun sand titanium stuff when my Istick30w and nautilus mini's are clearly superior and cost maybe 50 bucks at most!
[emoji14]op:

Kabuki $80 (MBV Limited Edition)
ProVari $25 (Night of the Vixen)

That's a whole $105.....Not thousands of dollars. ;)
