I think/hope you are referring to the joyetech bf RBA head. According to the joyetech website all that is needed is to make your coil then bend the legs according to how you want to orient the coil :
Sorry to hear that mongo. I also have a dud blue wrecker from vaporcube. I opened a support ticket the day I received it. Vaporcube responded 10 days later to say I needed to follow the hohmtech warranty process (which involves paying them $8 AND shipping it back to vaporcube on my dime). So I...
Agreed SSG. I got mine today too and I was blown away - first GG instruction manual I've seen. Presentation is top-notch on these. I can't wait to get home and put them into use.
Well done, as usual, Imeo!!!!!!!!!
I have to add - I have purchased three (discounted with promo codes) Wrecker G2s from vaporcube over the past 6 months. The first two are great and with no issues. The third is, in a sense, DOA. It does "turn on" but only displays a continuous "CONNECT ATOMIZER" error. I contacted vaporcube...
I have found that all my PG, flavorings, distilled water and even my 50/50 100mg nic all weigh close enough to a gram/ml for my comfort to use that as the standard. My VG, on the other hand, is always 1.34 grams/ml.

Yep, I can confirm the setup works.
If I was gonna use it like that I prefer the JustGG battery axis and it's better conductivity.
Still can't use the solid 18650 tube yet tho.
After Vans' encouragement I tried to disassemble the Lavabox M again today.
Here are the pics:
EDIT: Notice how nicely the screen cable is bent back out-of-the-way of the fire button. Kudos to Volcano for avoiding a pitfall many other manufacturers slip-up on. AND the up/down buttons are...
Just for clarification - the gg4s-style hybrid cap for 23mm devices must be used with telescoping devices - It won't work with the solid tube JustGGs until a much longer battery axis is made.
I will post the inside pics and answer when I get off work. It is a really old piece and I was trying to give as long as possible for someone to answer, sorry if I was taking too long (I honestly didn't know the protocol for how long I should wait).
I will say I love that everyone has an answer...
