    It was actually A spoonfull of cream cheese, 2 heaping tbs of gouda cheese, and a handful (my hand is large) of shredded sharp cheddar (fresh shredded from the block). Best Cheese Grits in the world.

    It seems like you didn't wet the cotton enough before firing it the first time. Once the cotton is burnt, it doesn't matter what you do to it, it will continuously taste burn until you trade out the coil. Try that, then get back to us.

    Harbor Freight. They have a nice box for around $25 with Foam inserts, you customize how big of a space you need, take out tiny strips of foam for a perfect fit so NOTHING shakes or moves around.

    How about trying a 50/50 juice? Or trying some cinnamon/chocolate type flavors. Not really a way to build a COIL that will make a throat hit. If you have a 150watt box mod, you should already know that lol.
