    Arcing?

Franklin probably didn't know it, but he was the first to experience and introduce current flow to the masses. Those following his findings in America eventually took part in the heated discussion of electron flow and hole flow. Those types (engineers) are still discussing which way current...

    Arcing?

I bought a brass Rose Finch mech mod on sale a year or two ago. It's a nice looking bright gold brass finish, well made, with very artistic scroll work on the body. I checked it out, vaped a little, and put it back in the box for the predicted vape Apocolypse. I'm kind of stuck on Pico's and...

How do you wash your boston rounds?

I titrated down from 24mg strength to 0mg strength about 8 or 9 years ago. Zero nic was boring, kind of like unsweetend tea. My brain was happy with 3mg, but zero nic was just frustratingly weak and didn't satisfy, so I settled on 3mg. Your experience may vary from mine. I really didn't want...

Time to replace those! I just ordered 10 VTC6's to do just that for my battery stock. Any cell over 100 milliohms is probably going to find itself recycled. I had a few that were approaching 200 milliohms.

So why is mixing by weight better than mixing by volume?

IMO, what counts is that you get the mix right as the recipe states. I've always mixed using a scale and I find it easy, but lots of people like mixing by volume. I add the PG and VG first, then the flavors followed by the nic base, taring the scale to zero after each addition. Order isn't...

How do you wash your boston rounds?

I run some hot water in the kitchen sink, put the bottles in with some dish soap, shake them around to make sure they fill with soap and water, and let them sit for a while before rinsing thoroughly. When I refill used bottles I just run them under hot water in the sink and twist up a paper...

DIY Nic Supplier Near East Coast?

Wizard Labs is in Altamonte Springs, FL Florida. Still a long shipping source that may eat up savings if you are in PA. East coast shipping moves pretty fast up I-75.

    Helping A Friend Quit Cigarettes

In my area there are a couple of Stormy's Vapor Cellar shops and they are knowledgeable and helpful, with hardware and juices that cover what people need and want. Not so true with some shops that sell 75% trinkets, leather, and various other items. I guess they have to do that to make a...

Help Choosing New Nic Base, Please

I've only ordered 100mg/ml (1 liter size) nic from Nicotine River and MyFreedomSmokes. Both were nice clean nic that that resulted a good mix without any overtones or unusual nuances in the juice mix. Re-bottle it in glass with a top that seals well and store it in the freezer and it will stay...

    Helping A Friend Quit Cigarettes

Most vape shops in my area have (or used to have) tanks for trying flavors where you used a new drip tip from a container to try different flavors on a flavor bar. Once you were through trying a few flavors, the drip tip was yours to keep or toss. It was good way to try them and pick one to...

Still using my 2 year old Samsung S9+ . The CPU is still fast and the Super AMOLED HDR10 (Gorilla Glass) screen is a knockout. It has fallen on the floor several times and once in the case onto concrete without missing a beat. I think I'll keep it. :)

    Battery question

You have to match your cells to the application to get best performance. If you are vaping at 60W and below you can use 3000mah cells with a 15A to 20A rating (the Samsung 30Q or the LG HG2 are good high MAH choices for under 60W). For higher wattages you need cells with higher amp ratings and...

    Juice consumption

That would be Superman with the X-ray Vision. After smoking for decades and switching to vaping in 2009, my CAT scans have showed clear lungs. I attribute my stopping smoking and switching to vaping in 2009 for my clear lungs. Prior to vaping my X-rays done during physicals and checkups used...

    Mesh vs Coil

I assume that you guys are DTL vapers. If clouds are your thing you wouldn't care for my cigarette style vape.

    Mesh vs Coil

It's more common than you'd think. It's the vaping version of unsweetened tea. :toast: As I said uptopic, I add flavors here and there to a small bottle of DIY juice. I vape those infrequently. 80 to 90 percent of my vape is unflavored. It's more about the vapor for me and less about flavor.

    Mesh vs Coil

Every once in a while I will add a squirt of flavor to a small bottle of unflavored DIY juice. I vaped all sorts of flavors years ago and still have a large tackle box with little square dividers that is full of flavor bottles. I just kind of simplified my vaping style a few years ago and...

    Mesh vs Coil

I've never used mesh. I've wound simple 2mm and 2.5mm coils for a decade. Those fit my MTL vaping style. I played with dual coil atties for a while, but found them to be overkill for my cigarette style vaping preference. I've always preferred recreating the inhale and vapor of a lite...

    Juice consumption

Two 4ml tanks of 3ml unflavored juice a day. There's usually some juice left in the 2nd tank at bedtime for the first vape in the morning to start the next day. MTL vaping minimizes juice use. I wind 2mm coils with 8 wraps, stretched slightly and pushed back together while on the mandrel. They...
