I'll have to try the Lightning Vapes wound wire SS316L. Do you get better flavor from that wire compared to standard single strand SS316L? It certainly looks like there would be more contact surface for the juice.
How does it perform with a rayon or cotton wick?
@https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/members/tonyd64.231324/, I spent quite a bit of time mixing tobacco flavors years ago. Most didn't taste like their name, but some were oddly likeable in spite of the inaccuracy in naming the flavors. One in particular that I like in a single flavor mix is...
Same here. All these years I've been using it next to the kitchen sink with the LED lights under the cabinets. Never even noticed that little blue button!
I use my LB-501 near a kitchen window where the LCD screen gets enough light. I had never turned on the backlight, but I liked it so much when I tried it a while ago that it will be used often. The blue backlight is good for contrast.
I just got my AWS LB-501 out and turned it on to see if mine did that. With and without the backlight on it reads 0.00. I've never used batteries in mine, only AC so my battery holders are empty. Mine is probably 7 or more years old. I bought it from Amazon when I first started DIY years ago.
Thanks, Mooch! Your tests and reports are greatly appreciated. Were it not for your oversight in the vape market and its associated products we would be in the dark about safety and product quality.
I sometimes play around with various coil diameters and wire gauges. That's the beauty of variable power mods. You can adapt to almost any coil and continue on without changing the wattage setting.
O-rings can be deceiving. You think you are good until you pull a vacuum to check the seal...
Brown bottles are good for blocking light transmission and UV, but I like clear bottles that let me see color changes over time (if they happen). So far, I've had little or no noticeable change in my freezer storage nic base.
Never squonked. Since I graduated from Joye 510 and eGo back in 2010 I've had a Kayfun of some sort in my hand all day, or a Beserker, or something similar in MTL mode.
I'm more of a 50/50 to sometimes 70pg/30vg MTL vaper.
Central Ga and my all day vape is unflavored DIY 50/50 to 70pg/30vg juice for the most part. 10W MTL vaper.
Today, I'm vaping an iStick Pico 21700 with a trusty EHPro Kayfun v2 on top, alternating with a Pico 25. Both are nice upgrades from the standard Pico line. With the 21700 and the...
I agree that learning to build your own coils for an RTA/RDA is the best way to ensure an ability to vape without relying on vendors who may or may not survive the vape apocalypse. The right collection of RBA/RTA tanks will live on through time. Replacement glass parts will come in handy.
A...
It's quiet in my neighborhood, almost eerie. My wife and I put on our masks Saturday and went shopping at the local strip mall. Since our state of Georgia eased up on the lock down there's more people out shopping and driving around, but I still don't even trust a mask if there's anyone I...
Hi, Kenneth. I own a couple of dual and triple battery mods. I haven't used them in several years because they are not pocket friendly. They are fine if you are sitting around watching a ball game, but not so much for away from home or even walking around outside. Dual cells are a plus for...
I agree with lowering the coil. You don't want the coil to block air flow, but you do want it to be in a position where air envelopes the coil as you take a hit. Too high and you lose flavor. I agree with Mordacai.
My first two ecigs were a Joye 510 and later an eGo. The Joye 510 was an early dripper that was the size of and looked like a cigarette. The filter popped off and you dripped drops into the cotton (the filter part) and replaced it on the device. It was pretty high maintenance and was similar...
Yep, I guess they finally sanitized the Earth with alien technology after the confederation of planets dictated that all life bearing planets must ensure a safe environment for all life.
The Jetsons were way ahead of us in the 60's. :)
Early on in 2009-2010 I was vaping 24mg 90pg. Later on, I started DIY and experimented with various mixes. These days I'm somewhere in between 70pg and 50pg at 3 to 6 mg nic strength.
Sometimes, I wonder if I should be closer to 12mg nic levels to reduce my 8mg/day juice consumption.
I have several VTC6 and 30Q's that I've been vaping at 10W for several years. I toss when the internal resistance begins to rise and vape time falls. Molicell P26A is my latest purchase and so far the four of them are performing really well in rotation.
