    Some juices, especially dark ones, are prone to crusting up the coil. Sweet juices are generally coil killers due to the sugar (sucrose) ingredients. The clearer the better, in my opinion.

    I have a small collection of flashlights that use 18650 cells. I can't see lithium cells being restricted. If they want to curb vaping it makes more sense to control vape mods and juice. I probably have enough 100mg nic and mods to last me the rest of my life.

    FWIW, silicone might be better mixed with color while it's in gel mode. Think RTV sealant. It's not really porous enough to retain color well when applied after it has set, especially if it's going to be stretched at some point.
