    Bargain Bin Treasures!

Agree. I've had almost no mods fail since 2010 and I have purchased quite a few. My old eGo and my cig-a-like Joye 510 still work (from 2010). Of course, I tend to pick a favorite mod or two and swap back and forth. The rest get light or no use. I have enough Pico 75W mods to probably last...

    Great GrimmGreen moment

Just when the Ciggy Nazis thought they had made inroads against smoking the Ecig appears! For them, it's the same as smoking because it extends the use of nicotine in a different delivery system. They might as well come down on Nicorette Gum. (I prefer vaping my nic instead of chewing it).

    18650 battery at 13 watts

Looks like the OP has left the thread, but he received good info before he floated away. I'm hoping that he will go on and read Mooch's data on lithium cells. There's an education waiting at Mooch's ECF page. @https://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/members/bgoracy.89422/ Mooch's blog |...

    Nicotine strength for sub-ohm vaping

Your brain will let you know when the nic's too high. A giddy feeling where your skin turns cold is a good sign that the nic's too high. :) I can still remember almost passing out with my first Winston cigarette at age 14. I swore I'd never smoke again ... That feeling passed and I continued...

    Car problems

There's usually a warranty on batteries and alternators if they are installed by a mechanic or a dealer/auto supply. Maybe the mechanic can get it replaced if the warranty sticker on the battery hasn't expired. It's all prorated from the purchase date.

    Are you done stocking up?

I threw out some highly aged nic a while back that was stored at room temp and replaced it with 3 liters of new nic that went into the freezer within a day. Learned my lesson. It's broken down into Boston Rounds in the freezer.

    Are you done stocking up?

You are probably right. The last factory coil I recoiled was from a Kanger Protank many years ago. Since my first Kayfun I haven't bought any factory coils. I did run across a pack or two in my vape closet a while back and thought about juicing one up for the nostalgic feeling. :)

    Car problems

Sounds like a warranty claim to me. If they replaced the battery and the alternator two months ago they should have checked out the charging system. You should be covered.

    Nicotine strength for sub-ohm vaping

Lots of us started out at 18mg to 24mg nic strength to get off the cigs. After a while we started to play with the nic level to find the strength that satisfied. If you are looking to reduce the hits you take in a day, go higher. If you want to puff constantly, work the nic down to 3mg...

    Car problems

You can disconnect the positive terminal from the battery, but you'll probably have to trade that one in for a new one anyway. Any idea what was draining power? Sounds like something didn't turn off with the ignition key. It's time for a charging system checkout and maybe a new battery. Do...

    Are you done stocking up?

Most factory coils employ a 2 or 3 piece construction with a rubber/neoprene sleeve to insulate positive and negative coil leads. You pull the bottom section out of the rubber insulator and you will see one coil leg dangling. The other is captured by the top section. Once you take one apart...

    iStick Rim at FastTech Different?

The iStick Pico 75W is probably the most popular of the istick line. They are inexpensive and well made. Sometimes, you can find them for under $25 on sale from the Chinese vendors. Here's one for $30 and change from a USA vendor who ships from Colorado. It's in stock if you move quickly and...

    Help, please: Newbie to rebuildables

The UD Bellus tank is popular. I own lots of tanks, but haven't bought that one yet. Nichrome is the same wire that's in your toaster, except what's in the toaster is probably a lot heavier gauge. Winding your own coils is easier than you think. YouTube is full of tutorial videos on how to...

    Nicotine strength for sub-ohm vaping

Air flow is what delivers vapor and the nic. I'm always vaping coils that measure less than one ohm, but in restricted MTL mode.

    Random DIY mixing and More

I poured gas into a Yellowjacket nest after dark once I discovered where it was. I dug it up the next day and there was a heaping shovel full of Yellow Jackets inside. I'd hate for the entire colony to sting at once. Over time, I've just about eliminated the Yellow Jacket population on my...

Hello all brand new here trying to quit cigarettes have tried everything else any idea on starter k

Reddogkw11, Starting out vaping you will want to match the nicotine level you were getting from the cigarettes to make vaping provide nic satisfaction. Full flavor cigarettes like Marlboro or Winston will fall into the 18 to 24 milligram category. Light cigarettes would be around 8 to 12 mg...
