I still have to mount the FIRE button and shorten the wiring before it is totally complete.
It has a USB jack under the UP/DOWN buttons. Using a 15C Li-Po battery.
I don't think I'm going to do a comparison of two different products.
I love the DNA20 display. Seeing the wattage, load resistance and output voltage on ONE screen w/o having to find the right button to press to see each reading is a major PLUS in my book. I could never remember what menu...
Ha, Ha,
I DVR'ed the concert. So far it's fantastic. Roger Waters and Eddie Veddar were fantastic
and I'm vaping up a storm with my ZMax mod. Thanks buddy
I was out most of the day. I'm waiting for the epoxy to dry on 510 conn. Have the Up/Down in and the Screen location cut out. Just need to put in the fire tact and mount the display. Will continue tomorrow. I'm watching the 12/12/12 Sandy Relief concert right now.
Buttons and Pot connections are through-hole. So either side would do.
Did you look at the photos of the board? Look again at Post #12. Click the attached photos for a larger view.
Thanks Mamu, I used the drag solder routine and it worked like a charm. Besides, although the spacing between the ribbon connections are tight, I've seen tighter ones that I would not attempt. I have an oLed display sitting in a box because of the micro spacing.
I had the same thought Mamu...
Yes the red tab is the sceen protector.
Yes the hard plastic snapped off. I un-soldered the ribbon cable w/ the display attached from the first board that locked up and re-soldered to the new board.
It's totally my fault and I posted about it on my site and how stupid I was and how it broke.
Word of CAUTION when handling the Display. Don't be a jerk like I was. I moved the screen when it was clamped to the box w/ a tool. Totally MY fault.
I originally posted that it was extremely fragile. Poor choice of words. Sorry! This has been edited to correct my statement.
