If I recall correctly that mess was parallel 6 wrap coils. I was trying to get my resistance down to see if it helped battery life and to give me a little more wattage range before crashing into the 6.2v cap of the Dna75 Classic as I mentioned it was a failure.
Crazy question as I have never tried the Flave 22mm: Will the flave22 drip tip fit the Flave 24mm? I’d love to have a few of the Ti tips. I will probably have to make them myself but I thought I would ask.
Honestly I don’t plan on doing the camo on the 1.1. I can’t find it in sheets in the USA. I had to import the v1 stuff from Canada and the company that actually will cut the tiny pieces for me does a crap job, out of 20 sets I was able to salvage 11 sets and had to refinish them to get that...
I’m also thinking about doing a carbon fiber stripe on the back like the LBC200 but going from top to bottom with no margins on the ends and finishing them flush and rounded on the ends. I’m also leaning towards an all black 510.
Back strip like this but with the carbon long enough to reach...
Havok:
Disregard the build. That was an experiment with parallel 26 stainless. Worked ok but too much ramp up time and battery drain. Check out the build deck. The air comes in directly at the coil not on the ends like you would think. Think Narda concept with 2x-2.5x the air of a Narda...
Funny you should mention....
I have an invoice for carbon fiber panels for the LBC jr (75 Classic) as well as standard black panels for the upcoming LBC jr v1.1 (75 color) as well as carbon fiber upgrade panels for the 1.1. These will be limited to 20 sets for the 75 Classic mod, 20 sets of...
Btw: Disregard the low wattage settings... I’m currently using 2x28/32 ss Claptons which are crazy efficient. Using regular 26g kanthal I was at 55w and 24g ss 52w. Ramp up time is near zero, battery life has also increased significantly, flavor and clouds have improve dramatically. For...
I wish... They don’t seem to be much on wholesale. The only changes I have made to mine is to bore the squonk pin out two sizes bigger and shorten the pin to be flush with the deck. As it comes the pin sticks up 3mm from flush; not bad but I prefer full drainage over less squonking and...
Flave 24mm. Think Goon 24 minus 1/3 of the air and all or more of the flavor. If you ran the Goon 24 wide open I would stick with that. IMO the Flave 24mm is perfect on the LBC jr. Looks pretty awesome as well. The Flave 24 is best suited for those in search of medium+ air and single coil...
No, when tapping the brass inserts into the board mount bosses the face of the mod cracked before the insert was fully pressed in. It was thrown at the concrete wall at that point and it exploded into a pile of blue shrapnel. The same throw was done to a cf (standard body) and zero damage...
I’m not sure how many of you noticed the clear blue mod shell that was posted along with pics of the red 20700 batteries. The blue body was made of this new material that I was sure was going to be a contender for future mods.... well that’s a big ole’ fail.... evedently a material called...
Looks like the screen is out of its notch. The screen should be recessed 1/32” from the faceand tight to the faceplate. Suggest wiggling it with silicone tape while squeezing the faceplate inwards. Could just be the way the camera caught the screen however. The screen should sit exactly like...
Let me get caught up and we will talk about parts. Fair enough? I need to get a few mods out before the torches and pitchforks start coming out. I’m just now getting back at it. The thumb still hurts like a mother when it bumps the spinning mill chuck but I can only stall for so long.
Working on the black Ultem buttons for them right now. I don’t believe I asked you though; would you like natural Ultem, black Ultem, clear, or stainless buttons? I had planned on using black Ultem but the choice is yours. I have all the materials in stock to make them.
Ahhh. Your gps sent you the back way. You went rt28 to rt15 to 340. Yes very much farm roads. That’s the shortcut but it all depends on who is in front of you as passing lanes are few and far between.
