    Strange issue with center pin

Yeah, I tried tightening. Didn't work and kind of marked up the center pin. Rob, I will be sending you an email in the near future for a rebuild kit. Does it include a new center post?

    Strange issue with center pin

Thanks for the replies guys. I have built several mods myself, so I definitely understand the insulator. This is usually the weakest point of any mod. Nerak - I've watched this video before, just for entertainment, but I will have to watch again to see what could have happened.

    Strange issue with center pin

I have one of the newer copper vein Grands. This morning I went to fill it up before work and there was juice on the top of my battery. So I unscrewed the delrin block from the top and noticed that the center pin of the connector had sunk down. So I try to push it up and it seems like the...

    My E-Liquid is Jello

I'm not sure what the freezing point of VG is, but PG is something like -60F My guess is, if there is no PG then that is why it's freezing. Not to mention that the vendor may be putting a bit of water in your juices. Do you see crystals forming or is it just a smooth solid like Jello itself...

    Madvapes E-Liquid is very harsh?

MadVapes juice is also very dry. It's hard to describe, but once you've had someone else's that wasn't dry, you will know what I'm talking about. If you make your own juice, you will notice it plain as day. I used to love MV's juice, but now that I make my own, I can hardly stand anything...

I have an idea... The laser atomizer

There is an atomizer that uses ceramic plates as a wick and insulator. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=I2xF1eGJHFo

The setup that made me quit looking for more

    I'd venture to say it's a REO

    Vmod...vapage...anyone have one?

I agree that the VMOD looks sexy. But, here's the question. Can you drive over it with your car, dust it off and take a vape? I don't enjoy plastic mods in the slightest.

Anyone try the A7 RBA ?? Will it fit?

Dave I had the same problem you're referring to, only when using silica wick!! It was either way to wet (gurgly) or dry hit after dry hit... The most consistent vape I've had was using rolled cotton gauze from the pharmacy. It has been stellar! I'm finally starting to get over the learning...

ZMax V2 in a Box Mod

Surprised no one has asked this yet. Where did you get your 20C life-po? That would have great potential! And what is the mah rating? Really looking forward to the DNA 20 myself. But the Zmax in a box is awesome

Anyone try the A7 RBA ?? Will it fit?

I also placed this reply on aNUther forum nerak, but here it is again. I have been using the A7 on my grand for a couple of months now. One of the A7s I have has a finicky center post like this as well, but has never given me any fits. What I do with that one is, unscrew it so that it is just...

    Curious question about batteries

It depends on several factors. How old are the batteries that came out of the pack? I can almost guarantee they are unprotected li-ions because the protection is probably housed in the pack or the laptop itself. Use at your own risk. Some people have done it, but an unprotected li-ion is one...

    Battery down!!!!!

I'm sorry to say, but if something has "leaked" into the contact of the battery, I wouldn't use it. You may decide to anyway, but it would definitely be dangerous. I know it sucks to throw an $11 battery out, but that's cheaper than a hospital bill... which is an extreme, but you never know...

    WARNING -- My Battery Exploded!

Any eGo style battery requires a charger with an output of 420mah. Most chargers for standard cig style batteries are well below this. The AC usb block (wall wart) must have an output that is equal to or greater than the charger itself. Glad nothing serious happened.

Cotton - How Difficult is it to Keep Wet?

The answer, in short, is Yes. Cotton does burn easily. But, in the case of a bottom feeder, it's easy to avoid. I have no experience with using a cotton wick in a GEN style. And yes, when it does burn, the fumes are definitely smoke, not dry vapor. So, you have to be careful. It's worth a...

Cotton - How Difficult is it to Keep Wet?

What I do is wrap my coil "bare". I use a darning needle and wrap the wire around that. Here is a video I did. A7 RBA set-up for bottom feeding - YouTube It's long, but you don't have to pay attention to the second half unless that's how you want to set up your cotton wick. I've since...

Not a past smoker but a new vaper. Anyone out there with the same story?

Think of it this way, if it came down to that one day, that one opportunity where the OP felt that a cigarette would make her feel better after something stressful, she might have done it. Maybe one drag off of someone elses cigarette. I wouldn't see vaping any different. Just like how others...

Anyone try the A7 RBA ?? Will it fit?

I can't take all of the credit. I got the idea from MisterE over on the modding forum. But, he's demonstrated it in RB tanks. I thought it would be good to try for the A7 on a grand because nothing was working for me. Turns out, this was a good idea!

Anyone try the A7 RBA ?? Will it fit?

I feel like we are beating a dead horse with this, but I wanted to post a pic of the setup that is working FAN FRICKIN TASTIC for me. It's a bare coil with a cotton wick (from an oversized Q-tip). The wick is nestled up under the coil on one side. The bare coil provides great heat and the...
