    kGo VV Issues

Wall wart? Is that the other end with the regular USB connector? I did see the KGo VV listed on another vendor site as an SLB eGo VV with a mini micro USB connector rather than the UC-E6 USB connector. I'm wondering if that model has other updates like a new built-in charger as well as the...

    kGo VV Issues

Got mine about 7 weeks ago. 50 days ago to be exact. Had the same problem on charging right out of the box. At first thought it was a bad batt, but left it on the charger and it finally did start charging. It would only charge in short periods, sometimes as little as a second or two, until...

You're right. I don't. How little do you watch? LOL I actually just discovered Big Bang Theory a couple months ago. Have loved getting caught up on the series. Very funny. Sheldon is hilarious. But I really watch just to check out Penny.

Low/High resistance, at equal wattage: what's the difference?

Excellent way to state it! It took me nearly a full page of explanation to conclude with this above... I have GOT to learn to be more concise.

    MyGo VV

This does get confusing, but all of the dual coil cartos that I have seen would list this as a 1.5 ohm rating. If a DC carto is rated at 3 ohms, it has two 6 ohm coils in parallel.

Low/High resistance, at equal wattage: what's the difference?

This is part of the difference... almost. More accurately, it has to do with the vapor temperature. Heat is energy. The energy stored in a PV is expelled as heat. A given battery will provide a fixed total amount of heat regardless of the voltage, resistance, or output wattage. At higher...

    Kgo VV 3.0-6.0 Thoughts?

Thanks for the link. That's the KGO VV I ordered today... from Hoosier.

    Kgo VV 3.0-6.0 Thoughts?

Thanks for the feedback. Sounds encouraging. I went ahead and ordered the KGO VV this morning... plus a 1100 mAh "Passthrough" KGO since the price was right. I feel like a traitor to my beloved 808, but at least now I should be able to play around with some of the dual coil stuff that needs...

    Kgo VV 3.0-6.0 Thoughts?

OK. One more question that's been bugging me. How does this... 18650 1500mah 3.7v IMR Battery Deliver 6 volts? Capacitors, maybe? Just curious. Anyone? Anyone? Buehler? ETA: I just realized I got this KGO confused with the new tube mods that use the other batts. But the question still...

    Kgo VV 3.0-6.0 Thoughts?

What is the ohm rating of the cartos are using with the KGO VV? Any low ohm or dual coils? I posted this in another thread on the KGO VV, but should have put it here instead: I'm basically wondering what the amp limit is, and if that is lifted at all by having the unit plugged in...

    KGO VV Battery

I wouldn't worry about going over 4 volts with less than 1.5 ohms. Remember, that's the net resistance. Each coil in the dual coil set up is 3.0 ohms. But it's a good question I'm also wondering. Presently, I have a dual coil tank on a 5v pass through with overall resistance of 2.5 ohms (5...

OT: Are you an Introvert or Extrovert or Ambivert?

Engineers are commonly very introverted. (I'm an engineer.) Do you know how to tell when an Engineer is extroverted? He looks at YOUR shoes instead of his own when he talks to you.

    VV Passthru Mod

Not sure if you're asking me or wolfstone... I don't HAVE to use a PT because I also have battery powered PVs. My set up is all 808. No mods. I simply want to variably reduce the voltage coming to my PT. My AC/DC adapter output is 5v and 2.1 amps on USB. More amps would be nice in order to...

    VV Passthru Mod

The Saber Touch looks great. But I'll have to save a few more pennies before going that route. Was hoping for a VV source with USB plug. With the ST adjustable AC adapter, I could remove the pin plug and replace it with a USB plug, but would only be able to use the 4.2 or 5 v settings...

    VV Passthru Mod

Awesome! Thanks! Yea, the high power option would also help. I picked up some dual coils cartomizers thinking that might work well for me at 5v, but I forgot to figure the power. At 1.5 Ohms equivalent resistance, the current went well over my 2.1 amp source and the carto would not fire. A 5...

Where Can I Get a VV Mod for a Passthru PV?

I posted this in the VV Mod section... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-mods-discussion/276084-vv-passthru-mod.html Looking for a mod or add-on device to adjust the voltage output from a 5v USB port to a passthrough e-cig. Anyone heard of a device like that? If so, where?
