    You actually may not be addicted to nicotine. You might just be addicted to mental reactions to stress. People bug me about the vape, and just say I never did all this outdoor stuff when I was smoking.

    That's why I chopped the battery with an ax. I heard they were "safe chemistry" so I tested it. Not so safe yet. 1 battery has 5 ml equivalent of gasoline's energy stored in it, 50 watt-hours. And it goes off for 30 seconds, so that's a 50/(3600/30)=3000 Watt chemical reaction in that time...

    The McD's story is different in a way. McD's intentionally made the coffee too hot for some reason. IIRC, it was to keep them from loitering about for free refills or something. It was just too hot to consume, and it was company policy to serve it scalding hot. Second and third degree burns...

    I keep the last cig that I smoked (one I made/bought) that was put out half way in a ziplock bag in the house. It's dated when I put it out. Try that. I always have that 1/2 cig here, but to look at the bag and see the date, no thanks.
