    theres nothing wrong with the deck, and if he learns to build on that first, he wont have an issue with ANY deck, I learnt to build on a kayfun mini v3 deck, now that deck is tiny....

    learn to wrap the coils, so for example, go to steam engine, look at how many wraps you need, wrap the wire around a drill bit how ever many times it says, and clamp it in to the deck, done...

    once you've got the jist of building the coil, you just make two and place them in the RBA deck, very very simple.... if 70 year olds are doing it these days I'm more than sure you can do it

    it sounds time consuming, a lot of stuff seems hard even following videos, but with coil building videos it is very simple, just do it step by step and youll be building coils within 2 videos....

    nah its very easy..... you simply place the coil legs through the holes and clamp them down....

    they are pretty amazing....., @jed1c I'd recommend picking up the RBA deck.... its worth learning how to build your own coils to your own preferences that way if something doesn't seem right you can tinker with it......
