you know i was going to write that no, they couldn't do that to determine whether to put the PWM into Buck or Boost mode BUT maybe since they don't seem to use any current feedback and have less than optimal voltage monitoring [to say the least, from what's displayed] it might be true Kcfromva...- kwcharlie

all mine that didn't leak were the little XL old ones, after that first order liked the bigger ones and only reordered them, no leaks on them either. -
