Just got mine and immediately mounted on the Provari.

Stock wick assembly measured 1.9 ohms. Filled with 20 drops 70/30

Airflow: Perfect

Flavor: Definitely the best drip I've ever tasted - no off flavors of any kind experienced

Vapor: Consistent with what I would expect from this juice if not better

With that being said here are 2 of my concerns (sorry for the quality of the pics but they should demonstrate my points):

1:

There is a silicon plug that one of the posts is inserted in to prevent the circuit from shorting. The connectors are very taught so I'm wondering how many times I can change the coil without having an issue with the plug being pushed down too far to retrieve or actually start leaking down into the 510 connection chamber-



2:

There are a few strings of silica wick that are crimped on to the drip/airflow assembly that I'm guessing are there to prevent leaking. When I switch to a cotton wick I will not be able to replace these - they can be removed with a tweezer but I don't see any way of replacing them with a different wick medium. So in the meantime there are dry strands of silica hanging in between the coil and mouthpiece. Am I comfortable with that - not really... -



Overall I think this is definitely a step closer to the holy grail - resolving these 2 issues and making the entire unit leak proof would fit the bill in it's entirety.

If that were correct then the juice from the tank would be dripping directly onto the coil itself and from there down into the air hole which would not be good.

quit bragging!!! lol I might have to wait till monday to get mine, it looked a little late getting out of houston today. My biggest question is that in the begining bad said these would be a limited supply run. will these be run again or are these a one time and done? If they are run again are there any thoughts on when there will be more? There are only 12 left now and if i wouldnt end up 6ft under for ordering more vapegear I'd order 2 more the way people are talking about them.

This is how the ego tank system works. But remember, there's a vacuum in the tank, so unless the vacuum is broken, the liquid shouldn't just continually drip. Drawing air thru the PV draws a little bit of liquid at a time from the tank.

Though I'd like to see an optional part without the spike and wick purely for dripping. I think the spike and wick is causing very slight leaking issues when using the unit as a dripper.

Got my VISION ETERNITY in yesterday and wanted to use it a day before I said anything.
Seeing as I have never used any setup like this and have only been vaping for a few weeks I can give you all an idea from someone that is new to all of this.

I check the coil to see what it was reading on my meter, got 1.89
Then I put it together and put some MsT Snickerdoodle juice on the coil and dropped in 30 drops.
O my is the flavor sooo goood.
Lots of vapor and no leaks.
Was easy to put together.
Even took it to work today and had enough to last me till I got home.
I like it a lot and will be giving coil building a try here soon.
Have it on my eGo T 1000

Got my eternity today and messed around with it a bit... A few observations.

It vapes like a champ in drip mode... Great TH and flavor. Haven't had a chance to test the tank setup as I don't have any ego t tanks, so no comment there. I'm not getting anywhere near 40 drops into it. With a fresh 2mm silica wick I had juice coming out of the center post hole and onto my provari's battery connector with only 20 drops. Hoping it's just because the wick was fresh and couldn't soak up the juice quick enough on the first fill.

As was posted earlier, I did notice the silica strands crimped into the spike... I guess it's not a big deal unless it wears out or something... While I like the flavor with a cotton wick, I like silica for ease of cleaning.

I rebuilt the coil a few times and got 2 ohms from 6 wraps (32Ga kanthal), but it's a little tight and I had to adjust it to get it to fit. Also had some trouble removing the factory installed coil. It was hard to remove the clip from the post with the silicon grommet, and I had to pull a little harder than I felt comfortable with. The post on that side moves around a bit which concerns me.

The only other issue I noticed was that this thing gets HOT. Like almost hot enough to burn if you were to lay it down on bare skin.

Overall it performs better than the Phoenix RBA and looks a LOT nicer!

I got my Eternity in the mail today, and so far I'm loving it! I've been running it in "eGo-T mode" with a tank cartridge, and it works like a charm -- great vapor and flavor, no leaks, and not a single dry hit until the tank is empty. So far, this is superior to the eGo-T and eGo-C, and I'm actually enjoying it more than my Bulli A2-TM. I haven't tried it in drip mode yet.

I do have one small complaint with the Eternity. I replaced the coil, and those little pins are really hard to put on and take off. I think I'd prefer screws (as this is what I'm used to with other RBAs), unless there's something I'm missing or I'm doing it wrong. I look forward to seeing the video to make sure I did it correctly. I could see somebody losing a fingernail, or the posts that the pins go on becoming damaged over time. Overall, I think the Eternity is great though, considering the price, performance, and form factor.

Day 2:

The stock coil burnt out this morning after less than a full day of use. Whatever - so it gives me a chance to check out how the rebuild aspect works.

Not a graceful process by any means but to be expected when working with small components.

Removing and replacing the connector pins or whatever you would call them does require a good amount of force. As a previous poster pointed out there is a lot of play on the post with the small silicon grommet that seems a bit concerning.

I personally was not able to push the the connectors down on the post with my fingers so had to invert and push them down on the desk in order to secure them properly to the posts. At this point I'm thinking that screws would actually be a better option.

Tested the resistance with a meter then popped it on the Provari for a quick test and everything is working fine.

I screw on the remaining components and add 20 drops of juice. Now I'm getting a lot of leakage coming from the center post as a previous poster had an issue with. Could it be that juice is leaking through the silicon seal on the wobbly post - but why would it be coming out of the bottom of the center post if that's the case.

Ok so now I'm both a little peeved and perplexed and decide to take the loss in the name of vaping science - this thing is coming apart.

Here's what I found:

The center post on the 510 connection does not go all the way up through to the center post on the coil assembly.

There is a hollow chamber in between that contains the wire that connects the wobbly post to the the center pin on the 510 connector.

Here is a picture of that piece - there is a silicone seal on it but as you can see there is a hole above it which allows the juice to freely flow down the center of the pin:



And here is the wobbly post with the very small (it's actually a 2 piece sleeve) silicon plug which is the only thing that stands between your juice and it leaking down into the hollow chamber and then through the center pin hole on the 510 connector:



Draw your own conclusions. There is a lot more to be said IMO but I don't feel it appropriate for me to voice my personal opinions in such a manner. What I have presented here today is factual information I have discovered concerning this device. For me, like many other hyped up new devices - it simply does not deliver to my expectations.

the easiest way is not to snap it down, place the pin on the pole and wiggle it down, the same can be done to remove it by wiggling the pin off the pole.

I can’t get mine to burn out or gunk up to try changing the wick but when I do I’ll not push it together like a roughneck, not my style anyway, more of a wiggler. How you coming bad clown, any more advice?

I am going to post this in the 3 threads I have found so far for the vision eternity, so I apologize if you see this in another thread just want to get as many responses as I can.

A little info, I have only been vaping for 3 weeks. So this is my first rebuildable and I do not have a lot of experience to go off of, but wanted to give my impressions.

The eternity just came in the mail. As other posters have said very nicely packaged with an instruction booklet. It also took me several minutes to figure out which parts I would need, and that part "b" is only needed if you are using an ego is my guess to clean the look up. So I attached part "c", the coil head, to my provari. Put a few drops on the coil/wick and it tested at an exact 1.8 ohms. Used the calculator and chose to start with 3.4 volts. Put the rest together and put in 15 drops. Let it soak and fired it up. Great vapor production, flavor seems ok but this may be due to the juice (backwoodsbrew applewood steeped for 12 days.

I've added about another 10 drops, after it soaked in I took the drip tip off and put it upside down and after several seconds only one drop came out which I then turned right side up again, just wanted to see how much and how fast it would leak, not very so may test it again with a juice I don't care for as much another time. I bumped up to 3.6 and it tasted burned so went to 3.5 and leaving it there until I break the coil in more.

The draw is airier then the vision novas, feels cooler so that is different. I want to go higher voltage to see how it goes heat wise and get to about 8 or 9 watts.

After using some of the juice I started to take it apart to see if it would leak if I wanted to see how much juice is left. I only had the coil head and the part D with the point and noticed a drop starting to come out the 510 connector so I stopped taking it apart, will try when I know there is less juice left.

The look is very sleek and the whole atomizer feels very sturdy and well put together. I am interested to see how easy it will be to take off the clips on the posts, as I read another poster had difficulty and someone else suggested wiggling on/off rather then straight pulling/pushing. If you chain vape it will warm up the atomizer since it is metal, which isn't surprising since any aotmizer I have used does this, more just to put it out there.

Questions I have are:
1.) Will there be some kind of clear tank to add to see how much juice is left? Thought I saw it mentioned there may be.
2.) If I disassemble to see how much juice is left will it leak all over (example when I take parts c and d apart?
3.) Do I need to turn on an angel and spin, like the vision novas to keep the wick wet?
4.) I am guessing to switch flavors it is best to clean out like the novas, rinse all out and change coils?
5.) Can this be filled and then carried around or is there a concern of leaking?
6.) Has anyone used cotton as a wick?

As a Joke.) Any way you can engrave Captain Awesome on one and send it to me , just kidding.

So far I am really happy with it and am looking forward to making my own coil and wick, as well as using longer to see how it pans out.

Edit: Sorry for such a quick edit, but once I figured the juice was getting low I took the chance and took apart the coil head from the spike head (part d) and see that as long as you know it is getting low taking those to apart won't leak unless there was a lot of juice inside sitting there. Then I put it back together added 10 drops, and took a drag once it soaked in. To test the leaking from the top again I took off the drip tip and held upside down for about a minute and again only one drop came out. So not sure if this is something I can put in my pocket or carry case if there is much juice in it.

Apparently the seal on the positive post isn't. It insulates the positive post well enough but it allows leaks, even when not terribly wobbly.

I wound my first coil today, and it's pretty easy. I got a nice 2.6 ohm coil going, but I also had to put significant force into getting the pieces on the posts. Couple that with the poor mounting of the positive post, and I don''t think this unit is ready for prime time yet.

Too bad, because the flavor and vapor production on the unit is awesome. Great design, poor execution. Guess I'll be waiting for Version 2.x or whatever. No more early adopter stuff for me either. I know I keep saying that.

Seems that you and I have had the same exact experience with the unit as well as pinpointing the obvious point of failure. Can't imagine how this was overlooked in the R&D phase as that post assembly will inevitably result in leakage - for all Eternity...

Hopefully the issue will be addressed and resolved in the next versions as well as a better means of attaching the coil to the posts. In theory the snap in method seemed great but turned out not to be not so advantageous.

Love the hit, love the vapor, love the look and love the feel.....hate the leaking like a sieve down the 510 connection that I am now getting. However I pulled it apart and gave it a good cleaning, then reseated everything with some even downward pressure and at the moment it is working like a champ. May need to do this every so often to keep it from wiggling loose. If they redesign this piece I hope they offer us early adopters the upgraded section in a trade. If not I will be only marginally upset, because it does work well, when it is not leaking. This area just needs a tad more attention and they will have an awesome piece. I do NOT regret buying it either way and I trust GotVapes to do whatever needs to be done to make their customers happy, along with the product getting the attention it does need by the manufacturer.
