Sure, worth a try. Why not? Generally, if you are starting with a pretty good recipe, make it first. Then, using the 100DT method, make adjustments to it to suit your preferences and goals. In that way, you'll know if you have a winner, or a dog. Easy to make a 100 drop test. Taste. Make...

Yes, I've heard you mention this before. I personally think they taste very different, but they are very complementary flavorings. As far as smell, I couldn't say, but not very close for me. But taste, and smell, is subjective. I believe juices benefit from both creams and vanillas and...

I understand your frustration. You can substitute sweet cream for Bavarian cream, but it is a different flavoring, though, that's what I would use, while I ordered from TFA and waited....anxiously... I might add some butter to it or something to give it a little more flavoring. I use sweet...

I would order the cotton candy and wait, personally. In some recipes, there is no substitution for some flavors. Good luck!

    SM V3 Semovar VS Provari

I understand your logic, but also agree that SvoeMesto did not come through on their accessories, and their one size fits all marketing program. Also, I wanted to buy all of their pieces that they promised, irrespective of the obvious other alternatives available, as did so many others. To each...

I use them all, but most prominently the vanilla swirl and vanilla bean ice cream the most. I would say you need both of those. Many also like the vanilla cream. I prefer the Bavarian and sweet cream, though, more than the others. Good luck! :toast: :D :2cool: :2cool:

    SM V3 Semovar VS Provari

I have a German friend who has a relative that is in the business in Germany. He told me that only one German APV was made in Germany, which was not the Semovar, and had pictures of the crates from China and NO Country of Origin on them. So, this is third or fourth hand, at best, so I can't...

    SM V3 Semovar VS Provari

I strictly use Provari's these days. Like the new P3, but still often use the 2.5. Sold both Semo's. Still have the Eye. Must say, the fact that the Semo folks never came out with the pieces they promised, i.e., the mech switch and a couple of other items, I just became disenchanted with them...

Yes, I've used the root beer float. Try something like this: Root Beer Float Root Beer Float - 10% Vanilla Bean Ice Cream - 5% Sweetener - 4% Koolada - 1% This did the trick for me. Good luck!

Sweetener and Cotton Candy are NOT necessarily interchangeable in all mixes. They do have different flavorings and are used in different ways. I would NOT substitute Sweetener for Cotton Candy in my CD. That's 10% Cotton Candy. Obviously, I'm using the CC for flavor, as well as sweetener. Would...

Decrease flavoring to about 15% on the orange and increase the cream and EM and add vanilla. Take a look at this post (from my blogs): Good luck!

Thank you! I prefer the clear over the dark. Easier to mix is the primary reason. Less gunk factor is the second reason.

I'm not sure of the why's and wherefore's, but the fact is that single ingredient mixes don't work 95% of the time, and I completely concur with you. Your dream cycle recipe Is marvelous! Like you, I never met a recipe that I didn't have to adjust to suit my tastes and gear and power. Nature of...

I'm glad you like them. Many thanks! I haven't made anything new in a while, and I sometimes look at my flavor inventory and think, "What have I done?", or OMG! Of course, sooner, or later, I'll get interested in something new again and be back at it. This is gonna be a busy year for me...
