The fruits can also benefit from sweetener or Cotton Candy, as they have the flavoring only and not the sweetness that fruits naturally have. Good luck and please share! :toast: :D :thumb: :vapor:

You need both pie crust and graham cracker. I arrived at this combination by trial and error, but you can duplicate these results and see for yourself. I was surprised too, by the results, once upon a time. Good luck!

I think you're right on target there Cliffy15. I'm sharing some ideas from my blogs to help the new members who may not have seen these ideas: Just an observation, but I have had really good success with vanillas and creams and sweetener in my juices. Often times when I hear about members...

From my blogs, I had some tropical: Lot of fruit options here. I have a couple of tropical recipes: Flamingo Strawberry - 8% Juicy Peach - 7% Coconut - 3% Sweetener - 2% Tropical Paradise Pineapple - 7% Coconut - 6% Bavarian Cream - 6% Dulce de Leche - 2% Sweetener - 2% Lots of...

The trick is to mix the dragon fruit with the strawberry. I would start at 3% strawberry and 6% dragonfruit and plan to go as high as 6% strawberry and 12% dragonfruit. Of course, you don't have to add the strawberry, but the combination of the two is a better mix, imho, though YMMV. A final may...

Very close to my own Dragon's Blood but I add vanilla cupcake to the mix, otherwise, all the same flavors. Tasty stuff. Good luck! :toast: :D :2cool: :vapor:

In reading about the use of high heat and sugars in the mix, is it no wonder that caramelization takes place on the coil? Since my juices were made at about 11watts, one can adjust the percentages to take the heat differences into consideration through trial and error. My coils gunk something...

From my blogs: Floral/Chemical notes do exist in some flavors, or can occur at higher percentages in some flavors. To eliminate those notes, don't wait to see if they dissipate, the chemical/floral note is an indication of an incomplete mix, not a lack of steeping. Here are some suggestions...

Surprisingly, pears work great with all sorts of flavorings. Even combining with other fruits works well. I would experiment with them on several versions.. The are surprisingly versatile. I've had a peaches and pears recipe out there for several years, and was an early effort. Cinnamon pear...

When first learning to make juices, you need a flavor base that is not too strong, as you need a lot of room and forgiveness in your mixes. Easier to add a few drops than to dilute in an attempt to take away a few drops. TFA suits this purpose splendidly. TFA flavors also tend to play nice with...

If one is scared to use AP, try Hazelnut or Pecan, both great, imho. I use all three with AP generally only in complex recipes and at 1% or less. Hazelnut and pecan are far more forgiving. Many juices do improved with a little nuttiness, so I wouldn't recommend that we categorically omit the use...

I'm smoke free now. I'm keeping my diketones. After 35 years of 3 PAD AS Blacks, I have little fear, and like breathing again. Now that I can taste again, I'm not going for the DX flavorings. That being said, there are many that feel differently. Do your homework, and decide for yourself. People...

Check out Jo's Juicy Peach in the dropbox. You'll learn that you have to add supporting flavorings like vanilla, cream and sweeteners to all your mixes to bring out the primary flavorings. Single flavorings will NOT WORK in DIY, 99% of the time! Read through this thread, check the blogs, follow...

Sure, but once you have a scale, you're going to know the volumetric weight of PG, Nicotine, PG, flavoring, etc. in about ten minutes, and then you can use weight in the formulations. Pretty easy actually. Again, recommend the website: eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator For further...

The people who use weight do the conversions which are quite easy, and the calculator makes it all really easy. Rather than explain it all again, I refer you to the website I posted earlier: eJuice Me Up - Best eJuice Calculator While I don't use weight 99% of the time, I do own a scale and...

Sure, whatever works is the way we do it. For me, the vanilla base is spot on at about 25%. I've added fruits with flavoring as high as 40% to get the mix I wanted, which included intense flavoring and depth. When I called this juice a base, naturally, a lot of folks thought it should be used as...

Thank you and good to know. I don't believe I ever posted that recipe in this forum, though it did make it to the dropbox, as it was a TFA recipe, I believe. All I can say is that I was never satisfied with the cheesecake at the time, and it was an early recipe attempt for me. Perhaps I shall...
