Why are my Kanthal A1 coils turning black in 1 day?

18650 batt question
I'd say you're good to go as long as the wraps and insulators are all in good condition still. I have 18650s that are around 5 years old and still work perfectly fine and hold pretty close to their listed capacity. It helps, I would think, that at 12-15 watts, you're likely not stressing the...- G and C

Battery info

Nic-salt with subohm mtl?
I've never had much luck doing MTL with sub-ohms period, nic salts or otherwise. That's not to say that it won't work for someone else. But if you're looking for something that works differently than your current setup, maybe trying higher ohms with lower wattage might be something to try... -
