Fwiw. I do use the firmware on my Pico 75.. I works great I like it allot.

Then fix the 510....
They do TC with Stainless great......
I have yet to find an atty that does TC better than it does at VW or no regulation.

Yeah, I know what you mean.....
Good thing is with a calculator like Steam-engine and a regulated mod and a forum like this ... We don't really have to relearn all that stuff, anymore. Once you learn where the safety limits are for the device you are using at the time.

Take to long to really explain.. it's all just basic elementary school physical science.
Inputs and outputs.. cause and affect..
Volts are the input. Watts is the output.
I was partially wrong above re heat....because while the higher ohm coil may be hotter. The fact that it is smaller...
Don't need to subohm... beside ohm doesn't determine heat.. that is determine by the mass of the coil and amount of volts you feed it. Ohm just determines the output wattage.
Also don't need a drill..... couple hooks and a weight is all I use to make twisted wire.

That where the personal preference kicks in....
I have yet to get good flavor from claptons.. MORE flavor? Yes... Better no. I do think I could get good flavor from a clapton if I spent more time building them. But my main issue with the really fancy builds is the crappy battery life they...
First voltage does Not determine heat. Coil mass determines heat and speed of a coil. 1 volt can be hotter than 12 volts... purely based on the amount of metal in the coil.
Also a 1ohm coil can be both more and less massive than a 0.1 coil.
I say get the mod you like best. Basically all of...
Or 2 strands of the 32 either parallel or twisted together....... the multi wire coil will give better flavor than the 28.. more surface area while being very close electrically.

Meh.... to me difficulty same contact vs spaced.
I guess if your hand wrapping coil and perfection is important... squeezing fixes errors.
Fwiw I use a coil making machine... homemade version of The Artistic Wire "coil gizmo" and my Kayfun coil wrapping rods started life as a 2.5mm clothes...
Single coil 32 awg at 1.2 ohms is way too hot.......... 2.4 would be better..
What is your core diameter.....
My fave kayfun kanthal builds are 2x32 twisted at 1 ohm to 1.3ohm. 5 to 7 wraps spaced on 2mm to 2.75mm.
Coil building does take practice..... wicking more.. pretty looking...
8 profile. Almost every setting is adjustable. Is offline editable. Preheat by watts. Percent and multiple power curves. TCR and TFR regulation Preheat available when in TC. Even the TC regulation itself can be modified.
Basically it turns your Pico into a DNA style mod.
The Eleaf software...
I tend to set my TC watts 5 to 10 watts over what I vape the same builds in VW. I use a pico 75.. temp can often be dependant on build. Sometimes it as low as 250 and others as high as 500 or more. I don't completely understand TC yet as I get th e same vape at 250 and 500 using different...
I'm running 28 awg in one and twisted 30 in another..
I will admit TC is New to me And I get a better vape using VW..... set to 15 watts on a cooling power curve 125% dropping 1 watt per 1/2 second after 1 second.
