    All my mods part1

Like Stowneface and dsy5 said, no one has any cause to be upset with you. To the contrary, you have our gratitude and admiration. Of course we're all anxious to see what new ideas you have up your sleeve but we are all well aware that you denied your just rewards for the Genisis. I think we all...

New Hybrid: The Noble1 from Vapor Craze

Yea... I agree. It has some cool features but I think they really dropped the ball on a few things. I don't think you should have to mod a $200 device to make it work right.

GP Series by VapourArt - Official Thread for GP Spheroid, GP PAPS, X, GP Piccolo, GP SnP and more - Part 1

You shouldn't get any voltage drop at all, on any mech, when it's unloaded. It should read exactly the same as reading the battery on it own. Yes the multi meter does close the circuit but it has an internal resistance measured in mega-ohms, making the resistance of the PV itself negligible to...

New Hybrid: The Noble1 from Vapor Craze

I think this is a reference to a post I made in another thread... It was #19... Just not in this thread. Here is a copy.

Why pay well over $100 for a mech when a clone of it is a fraction of the price?

It'll depend on the device, but I'd be very surprised if you were able to get as high as 3.5 volts delivered to a .4 ohm coil... If you were able to get that high, you'd be looking at 8.75 amps and 30.6 watts. I don't think that's going put you in and danger physically but I doubt that a 18350...

Why pay well over $100 for a mech when a clone of it is a fraction of the price?

Mechanical devices don't have a "voltage drop" they have "resistance". It the resistance of the PV in series with the resistance of the coil that determines the voltage drop. Assuming that you take 2 measurements... Both with the same PV and the same battery at the same voltage... The only...

GP Series by VapourArt - Official Thread for GP Spheroid, GP PAPS, X, GP Piccolo, GP SnP and more - Part 1

If you're the "fix it" type, run to the hardware store and find a set of small needle files. You should be able run a fingernail along the threads until you find the damage. Select the appropriate file and lightly file away burs or dings. Don't go overboard. You just want to get to where it'll...

    Pictures of your setup

Dude... Not a good idea to post your email in an open forum. Sending in a PM is a better way to go.

Just had a vision of a stripper w/ a PAPS LUX & S&P tank... If she were real, she'd get all my money... Boing!

Why pay well over $100 for a mech when a clone of it is a fraction of the price?

I bought Super-T's for far less altruistic reasons... They are bad ..., bulletproof, super conductive mods with a lifetime warantee and they are a joy to use. The fact that David is a great guy, running an an American business, who offers top notch customer support, is just icing on the cake. :)

Do body material affect voltage drop?

Lol... You give me too much credit. My guess is that if your PV is getting hot enough to change its conductivity, you need to put it down and move away...

    Cyborg - ProVari Killer?

I've got both the Z-Max and the Provari... The Z-Max started acting goofy (like going into the menu system in the middle of a vape or complete misfires) about a week after the 90 day warrantee expired. The Provari, on the other hand, has taken 10 times the abuse and never skipped a beat. If you...

    Cyborg - ProVari Killer?

My Leatherman Wave is probably the most "versatile" tool I have and it is most definitely a quality tool. It just doesn't get used very often because I have other "single purpose" tools that perform their specific functions better than the Leatherman. I feel the same way about my mods... I...

    Cyborg - ProVari Killer?

LOL... Agreed... I still remember when the original LavaTube was dubbed the "ProVari Killer"... Turns out the ProVari doesn't die so easily.

Do body material affect voltage drop?

No worries... Your answers are usually dead on the money, including the ones in this thread. The only reason I commented was because you made me 2nd guess myself and I had to do a quick search to verify. Hope I didn't offend. Was not my intention.

Do body material affect voltage drop?

Yup... That was my very first VV mod... The tube body is attached to the PCB's ground. the 510 is attached to the pcb outputs with two wires. One soldered to the threaded connector piece (neg) and another soldered to the center pin (pos).

That sucks. Sorry to hear that. I may have just gotten lucky but if I did I've been consistently lucky. This was my 3rd VapourArt order and I've never had an issue getting anything once it made it to the cart. (Yes... I'm knocking on wood...)
