That's I-hybrid Celtic... I think there's one in the classifieds at the moment... For double the retail price...

Honestly, I haven't measured it. I'd say its at least 1.5. Probably closer to 2mm. It's intended purpose is to be a high temp insulating sleeve, so the 1/32" size is its internal dimension.
Wish I could tell what size washer to get but I was too lazy to run to Lowes and find the correct size... I just ground down a larger one that I had lying around.
It looks pink because it held in with LockTite Red. The blue looked better but kept coming loose.
Also, you can't see it in the...
Scott's usually right on the $ with his info, so no reason to doubt it. The Foggy is definitely an enviable piece of hardware. Hope you're able to get one.
Yea... As a project, it's not too bad at all, especially if you're handy with a Dremel and a soldering iron. If you decide to give it a go, be sure to post pics. As far as I know, pdib is the only other person to make it. He actually did a really cool version squankable version for his REO.
No video but I did create a "how to" thread... http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=402298
The only difference between what did in the tutorial and my latest version, I stole pdib's flattened screw neg post idea and modified it a bit.
I have one that needs a new coil so...
#69 belongs to Scott Bonner (igetcha69). I would imagine that number was done especially for him and is probably not an indication of the number actually produced.
IMO... The closer the better. Touching coils can be temperamental though. They will meter out perfectly but as soon as you put amperage through them they can short across each other... At least until they get a layer of oxidization on them.
I think I've posted most of these in other parts of the forum already, so my apologies if they look familiar...
And a quick test fire...

Edit... Just wrapped this one... It shows the latest update using a ground flat brass screw. (Thanks Pdib!)
I was a happy carto user for a VERY long time. It wan't until I got into DIY juice that I decided that I need something that could be easily washed out and switch flavors. I picked up a couple of Cisco 306's and had a true ... moment. The tase was better, they lasted longer and direct dripping...
LOL... I actually had a thing about blue foam typed out in my last post and deleted it. I got into vaping toward the end of the two piece cartridge/atty designs and went straight into cartos. I did, however, successfully blue foam an 808-D carto... It just didn't work very well.
I started off...
Looks good by me. :)
Funny how the "old days" were less than 2 years ago... LOL
I'd also agree that Dan and the ScubaGen did play a major role in making the genisis atomizer as popular as it is today.
Actually the genisis design came from a German modder by the name of Raidy. The Scubgen was based off of Raidy's design. In fact the 1st introduction of the genisis concept to the ECF can be found in this thread...
