    Recommendation for Glycerin, USP

Heh, I'm going to have to tell my friend who is a compounding pharmacist about this thread. He'll enjoy it.

    My E-liquid

Yep, I do that too. Anytime I drop my nic level, my consumption goes up for a bit. Normal for me.

    Fastest way to steep?

Go with shake 'n vape recipes. Zip, zero, nada steeping. And if you have a must have recipe that does require steeping, go with a seed steep.

    Recommendation for Glycerin, USP

Thankfully I've witnessed the confusion between required labeling and marketing additions to be amused. Please continue...

Not the way o would have gone, but that is certainly an option.

    Testing flavors

Think of it another way... If I have X at 10% and Y at 10% as single flavoring mixes and I mix equal amounts of each into a bottle, I have 5% of flavorings X and Y now. There are 2 factors with multiple flavoring mixes, total flavoring % and ratio of each flavoring in the total. That's how I...

    Battery, how much?

Um, about 0.01 kWh to charge one without taking into account inefficiency of the charger and the battery chemistry. Just a bit more than charging a typical cell phone. A modern TV consumes more power while off, but that's a different question...

    Simple DIY question about flavoring

Standard Window. There is no such thing. A flavoring that everyone likes is a standard window.

    Frustrated and feeling defeated

Here's an idea. Take the bottle of the TFA mix and pull out 1ml into another bottle. Add 1/2ml of your flavorless base. Mix and vape. If the flavor of the first day almost makes a comeback, you have your answer.

    Mixing for coworkers

Heh, DIY is a mindset. Most folks don't have that mindset. Good idea. Great idea if you did have coworkers that would jump at the chance to learn. (I've been dinged for joke posts. Humor isn't universal, but I'm still having a laugh and the ding goes away after awhile.)

Can someone PLEASE help me with high-VG/high-watt DIY?

I'm not going to offer much except that my recipes that I developed with my old 510 equipment still work with my 0.1 Ohm builds. I get the impression that I would only waste time attempting to help. All VG, all PG and anything in-between works if the recipe was developed well. (no links to...

    DIY e juice help

That's a good start. Have you tried vaping your PG, VG, and an unflavored blend of them with your nic? What do they taste like? Also, the specific flavoring and amount used would be good to know as Jimi mentioned for the step after seeing if your bases are good.

    My first Frankenstein DIY attempt!

I do not see anything unusual in your story. I started DIY because I wanted a good tobacco flavor and all I could find was crap. That was many years ago. I've found some vendors that produce stuff that would have probably worked for me back then, but now my stuff is perfect for my tastes...

    Best flavor concentrate company?

I use a bunch of different ones. But I like my bourbon straight and my brussel sprouts with anise seeds, and I'm fairly sure that most folks don't like the same thing.

    Ohm's Law question

Simply? Ohms law has nothing to do with charge capacity of a power source. So plugging milliamp hours into it does not result in any usable result. You will need to know the safe discharge rating for the battery which will be an "I" you can use. Sometimes this is given as a "C" rating which...

New to DIY getting little to no flavour

The most bassacward thing that took me longest time to figure out was that too much flavoring can lead to little to no flavor. So I wrote a blog about flavoring levels so others could learn from my hardheadedness and posted it on ECF.

    No taste in my mixes.

Could the Koolada be masking the rest? Frankly I've never used it anywhere close to 1% let alone as high as 2% and it cools just fine at my micro-percentages.
