Indiana Call to Action - Stop the Monopoly

The US AG only reacts to what the administration says to, or is forced to by senate action. Either requires quite a large number of people expressing concern and outrage. The Indiana AG pushed for the law.

Indiana Call to Action - Stop the Monopoly

Capabilities make no difference. Top notch clean labs make no difference. Nothing about this law has anything to do with safety, security, children, nor any other babble that comes out of a politician's mouth. This law was written to create a monopoly. 2 of the permit holders have never...

Indiana Call to Action - Stop the Monopoly

I know that Big Willy's and Liberation have"picked a pig". Both are constant sources of donations to Hoosier Vapers and make some juice that is downright tasty. There are others, but those are the first 2 that jump to mind.

Indiana Call to Action - Stop the Monopoly

Many shops have, as they said, "picked their pig.", when going forward with buying from the permit holders. Some are closing up for good. Some are moving across state lines. Some have broken away from Hoosier Vapers and formed a trade association co-founded by one of the"pig"s. Some have...

Indiana Call to Action - Stop the Monopoly

Right, as long as they sell exactly what comes from a permit holder, no issues. Change a label or bottle and you need a permit. Of the 6 permit holders, 2 have never produced juice and still don't. Of the remaining 4, one person owns one company and is co-owner of a second permit holding...

E-cigarette players fume over favored security firm | 2016-06-18 | Indianapolis Business Journal | IBJ.com Great article. They don't know what I know, but it is actual journalism's best attempt at putting the pieces together. BTW: The legislators who voted for this law are completely...

Technically, yes they can as components are not in the law. Just the act of combining them with the intent to vape the result. If they were to instruct buyers how to use said components, then there could be an issue. The worst of those issues would be if a permit holder found out as they have...

Indiana Call to Action - Stop the Monopoly

I kept my comments within what is allowed. I cannot comment directly on the case and things discussed among board committee meetings related to the case. An Penny is correct, the injunction was denied. Not surprising as injunctions are designed to be exceedingly rare in Indiana. It was...

Really wish I could say more right now. Being goaded by one of the people seeking damages if we do manage to get an injunction next month. It would be so nice to not have to bite my tongue right now.

Yes, I have seen the anger. Understand it too. The documents are out for everyone to read for themselves... My grandmother always told me that if I ever found myself in a hole, the first thing to do was to stop digging. I always said, how do I know it's actually a hole unless I keep digging...

    Going to start DIY

Heh, yep. Great chemical oxygen. Too little and all mammals die. Too much and all mammals die. Chemicals everywhere and it's the portion that is critical which ties directly into mixing juice. (and life, but that's a different forum) The least number of chemicals for juice is probably...

Indiana Call to Action - Stop the Monopoly

The owner of Indy Ecig is co-owner of Sugar Creek Bottling. It's not complicated if you've been hipdeep in it for a few years. It's unbelievable enough that when you tell people the truth, the typical response is to argue.

Is there a blog or article to help someone new to DIY?

Hey @Baditude! No, no articles or blogs. And if you do happen to stumble across some, feel free to ignore them. Sometimes stumbling is as good as a methodical approach. I pretend to be an engineer for a living so I'm methodical and I've made a crap ton of bad tasting juice. I've made a crap...

I'm glad you understand that Dan. I just read someone didn't want chemicals and the only way to do that is produce a true vacuum. Even outer space is full of chemicals.

Indy E-cig, Sugar Creek Bottling, Vapor Bank, and Cravin' Vapes are the business names I recognize. There is an Ohio and Florida company I do not recognize. All the business names submitted to ATC and in the filings are new company names and it takes me awhile to figure out who is owns which.

    CAP flavors are great...

I usually recommend Capellas for new mixers. Easier to get good juice because they are usually resistant to getting weird with over flavoring.
