Still hasn't hit the governor's desk. If enough people use the CtA and follow up with a phone call during office hours, yes.
If not enough do, no.
Same as any bill.

Something to help make the calling into the governor's office more enjoyable. Or something to read to get psyched up if your a shy person.
Call to action is up at hoosiervapers.org and the HV facebook page.
Penny, they will avoid the closed systems. They don't want to put BT on our side of the lobbying table. As long as they don't touch closed systems, BT stays out of the fight.
Please take a few minutes and do the CtA. Monday...
Heads up:
HV will be issuing another call to action this afternoon. This session of the General Assembly is over, so we will be focusing on the governor now.
It will be on the hoosiervapers.org site and also ask folks to spread it around whatever social media they use. It will take an...
Yep, seems that way.
Honestly, and I'm sure folks are tired of me saying this, our biggest issue with the lawsuits is money to pay the legal team to keep going forward.
An emergency injunction will be filled in state court late this week or early next week over the failure of the legislature...
FYI: Consumer membership is $100. Vendor membership is $1000 per location.
There should be a Donate tab so folks without the means for a membership can chip in something.
That's what we did Mike. A rep was going to introduce a bill stripping out the 3rd party security out of the law. The chairman of the committee had other ideas. Could it be because the security company's base of operations is in his district?
So this bill was voted on to concurrence...
The council of the Indiana ATC was recorded on judicial record that as the law is written, no security company was in compliance. Since a contract with a compliant security company is required to apply for a permit, that means the law was written without any means of compliance.
The bill we...
Hoosier Vapers has issued a new call to action on this.
Stop the Monopoly in Indiana!
We are getting mixed signals from the speaker, but he said it must be fixed publically so we are urging everyone to help push the speaker's current public comments.
We are also getting some mixed signals...
The security firm is providing a rolling fire door certified technician and an architecture certified tech as the law requires. There are no requirements for rolling fire doors or anything, just the techs.
Hoosier Vapers Inc is suing the state of Indiana over this. We are accepting donations...
Oh, and the security company's contract we have seen copies of to the shops that have contacted them has fees based on monthly sales, not a flat fee per square foot of floor, or any usual type of fee.
The security company requires the recipes as a condition of the contract. The law specifies the company, by requirements that it must meet, and a contract period of 5 years.
The law just covers testing juice after the fact and the ATC is rather free to test for whatever they want and the shop...
Most shops are working on applying for license or moving. The security company that this new bill allows to comply with the original law is requiring recipes to be revealed as part of their contract.
And with the security company's close ties to Monument which lobbied for the original law...
The Indiana AG held a press conference and said we needed to regulate ecigs a few weeks before the original bills started up last year.... What kind of traction do you think going to the AG is going to produce?
It's all about, what some call, The Old Boys Club. If you are a member, things go...
