    GG Talk!

According to the COV site, I would need three additional pieces to convert my GG Stealth to a full-bore GGTS ... the telescope tube (I assume, either brass or SS?), the top tube, and the "collector tank" unit ... what does this last item, the collector tank, do for you? Is it necessary, or will...

    GG Talk!

Well, I haven't gotten my e-mail notification yet, but the site confirmed my order for the GG Stealth! Fingers crossed it went through ... quite a pile-up!

Penelope official and tips and tricks

I just received the two sets of Penelope internals, which I pre-ordered from COV, and they are brilliant! I can have two completely wicked and coiled internals—ceramic, ceramic housing, housing ring, center post, plastic post washer, post nut, and bottom post o-ring—ready to drop into my...

VAMO Owners - Pics, Tips, Tricks and Quirks

Here's my Stainless Steel Vamo topped with a Penelope dressed in Kir Fanis' latest clear tank—the "Fat" Penelope—which makes the normally slim Penelope a perfect match for the Vamo ... looks like an Odysseus with the Kir Fanis tank!

    Penelope Rescue

I use a fat rubber band as a strap wrench around the metal base ... never a problem taking off any Kir Fanis tank from any of my Pennys ...

Innokin iTaste MVP in the House

I've got the silver MVP, and while I don't treat it rough, the finish seems very durable. It doesn't show fingerprints any more than a brush-finish stainless steel body would (which is, not much at all), and the texture of the surface is quite soft in the hand and smooth like a satin ProVari ...

Looking for a telescoping mechanical MOD...

There is currently a co-op going for the EA Mod from Finland (actually, this co-op is closed and awaiting delivery, but a second round is in the planning stage) It may be out of your price range, but this is a beautiful mechanical telescope mod that will accept up to an 18650 with a Kick!; I got...

    Pure smoker Legacy

I have the Legacy with the 18650 extension tube and a Kick ... lovely setup! Very solid mechanical mod in its own right, and with the Kicked 18650, a long-lasting variable wattage device. The deep threads on the Legacy top cap make it very quick and easy to remove the cap (with atomizer still...

    Who has a LEGACY..

I concur on the threads being a bit rough when new, but a good cleaning with warm water and Dawn detergent followed by a half hour's worth of elbow grease Noaloxing the threads in and out has made mine (as PBusardo would say) buttery, buttery smooth!

Calculate Battery Voltage on a Twist?

Actually, on my four eGo Twists, when the battery is low (very low!), the button will begin flashing rapidly about 15 times and then quit firing ...

Calculate Battery Voltage on a Twist?

I don't believe this will work to find the state-of-charge of an eGo Twist-style battery; on VV devices like the eGo Twists, these inline voltmeters display output voltage, which is whatever you have the little dial set to ... the output voltage should be the same (within limits) regardless of...

Penelope clear windows By Kir Fanis

LOL ... you're missing the decimal point, which on European websites is a comma. The Fat Penelope costs 34€, which is approximately $45.75 US ... my total, with shipping from Greece, was $47.06.

    Ordered a 2.5, got a 2.0.

I've seen stuff about the ProVari passthrough, and while it looks like a swell idea, my question is: what do you do with it when you're not actively vaping? Standing it up is obviously out, and laying it on its side might be awkward with some atomizers ... I can't even figure out how to make a...

Penelope clear windows By Kir Fanis

As mentioned in Post #332, the two O-rings go above and below the knurled ceramic housing lock ring. The metal plate is a "slot key" that can be used to tighten the ceramic housing in the base. In Kir's forum on VW, there is a series of assembly pictures which should be helpful; a similar...

Penelope clear windows By Kir Fanis

LOL ... thank YOU, my friend! Your tanks for the GG are real masterpieces ... I can't wait to see what you come up with to complement the Ithaka!

Penelope clear windows By Kir Fanis

Yes, nothing changes about the setup of the Penny ... the "Fat" Penelope tank comes with its own tank section top cap (onto which the original Penelope mouthpiece cap & O-ring screws), and a special large base into which the original Penelope base seats. The Penny's original ceramic and ceramic...

Penelope clear windows By Kir Fanis

Just got my Fat Penelope from Kir Fanis, and it is really spectacular! Makes Penny look like an Ody. Here are a couple of family shots of my trio of Penelopes, each wearing a different Kir Fanis dress ...

    Who has a LEGACY..

I've got a Legacy with the 18650 extension and a Kick ... excellent mod, easy to maintain, very smooth button, easy to lock and easy to fire. With proper care and cleaning, this mod should last for years. I just recently got a Legacy Mini tube; using the same top cap and switch as the standard...
