I got my much anticipated order today, ripped apart the packaging, started charging the batteries, only to find that instead of the silver 2.5 I ordered, I got the 2.0 :(

Even though I have heard that there aren't any differences, I feel a bit let down. I guess I let the anticipation get to me.

Anyone else out there order a 2.5 get a 2.0?

Well, I emailed Provape, and they offered to exchange it for the correct one, but they also offered me a small discount if I wanted to buy a second if I wanted. I accepted that, as I will be vaping as much or more at work than at home, and those ego batteries on my desk wont be as attractive after using a Provari at home. All in all I'd have to say that I'm satisfied with Provari support.

That's great!! Glad it worked out:) I know I'm happier now that I have 2 ;)

I cant link it, but it is on pbusardos web site. Basically it's a gadget that you slip in the Provari in place off the battery and cap, and it lets you plug it into a 12v car lighter plug, or plug into the wall via an AC adapter. No usb. Apparently it will be out around Feb 6th.

This might have me selling my week-old Provari v2, now that i have a 2.5 also. I could just keep the pass thru at work, and carry the Provari to and from.

Introducing a new accessory for the ProVari and Provari Mini.
The Pass-Thru Power Adapter

The Pass-Thru allows you to power the ProVari or ProVari Mini while in the car or at home (with the
optional wall plug). By removing the battery and inserting this special power pack, it provides all-day
power to the ProVari and ProVari Mini.

The standard kit includes the Pass-Thru, 12V cigarette lighter plug and a small adapter that snaps onto
the Pass-Thru to adapt it from a Mini to a Regular. This adapter can be easily removed at any time to
change it back to a Mini Pass-Thru.

The following optional accessories are available for this unit:
ProVari Pass-Thru Wall Plug –
This plugs into a standard 110V
outlet. This will power the
ProVari Pass-Thru anywhere you
feel like plugging it in. This power
supply is also compatible with
240V and can be used with a plug
adapter for international
customers.

Wall Plug Power Splitter – This plugs into the ProVari PassThru wall plug or car adapter and allows two ProVari’s to be
powered off the same wall plug. (Requires an Extension
Cable.)

ProVari Pass-Thru Extension Cable – This cable can be
used to either extend the length of the standard power
cable, or it can be used with the Power Splitter to power
two ProVari Pass-Thru units at the same time.

90° Elbow Connector – For those who want to direct the cable off to
the side, this adapter connects to the end of the ProVari Pass-Thru
and angles the connector at a 90°.

12V Replacement Car Adapter – If you need a spare car
adapter or replacement.

Same thing happened to me today. Except I ordered a 2.0 and received a 2.5. Totally bummed right now. I submitted a ticket but have yet to hear back.

For a few days they were showing the 2.0 version for the image, but the description of the items were all for 2.5. I don't think the 2.0 has even been available for order for little while now (maybe a week or so), unless you got one from the clearance section.

I noticed that as well while I was waffling on my purchase. But I did in fact purchase from the clearance section. I even logged into my account to confirm I wasn't going crazy. LOL

So you will be selling the V2...must like the V2.5 better....

Well, just a touch. Except for the styling, they are identical. But yeah, now that a pass thru is coming out, I'm 95% sure I'm gonna sell the V2, providing the pass thru isn't outrageously priced.

Had I known, I would have just done an exchange. I just don't need two Provaris when there is a pass thru available. I have a couple of ego twists if I need a to-go vape.

Well, good call, then. :) The clearance section's definitely the way to go. I've ordered a couple that way, and I'll be damned if I can figure out why Provape thought something was wrong with them.

Just received my blemished ProVari today. I went over this blemished unit with a magnifying glass. I can not find one thing wrong with it! Because I already own two ProVari's, I would know a blemish when I see it. It is working perfectly. I opted for a blem because sooner or later something will happen and it will no longer be perfect.

As far as the logo fading over time - I could care less. I would imagine the manufacturer is more concerned about the logo staying on the unit than I am. I own my ProVari's because of how they function...period. And I love them :)

I read about it on one of the blogs. It is supposedly coming soon.
Here is a link with more info about passthru from ProVape.

I don't know what I did wrong with that link. Guess my copy & paste skills are lacking. Let's try this one:

I've seen stuff about the ProVari passthrough, and while it looks like a swell idea, my question is: what do you do with it when you're not actively vaping? Standing it up is obviously out, and laying it on its side might be awkward with some atomizers ... I can't even figure out how to make a serviceable stand for it. Any thoughts?
