    Thanks, vinstigator! Got the question answered in the RBA section. I did try looking on the spreadsheet but wasn't able to find it. The N is for nicrome and the number after it refers to the percentage of nicrome in the wire N-6 = 60% N-8 = 80%. K is for Kanthal. Just wanted to make sure...

    I ordered some kanthal from ebay that was A-30 AWG. It's labeled K-A 30 AWG not A-1. What do these labels represent? Is there a difference in the wire? I've been working with some that is labeled "N" and it works fine. Just curious if anyone has a chart or can answer what the differences...

    I used the calculator but it defaults to using a flavor in juice. I'm just cutting a base to a lower mg base for storage. Would this make a difference?
