FYI: To those who want to risk using magnets...BE Very Careful..if you put the magnet on the negative side of the battery and reverse it by accident you can bypass the reverse battery protection and blow out the circuit board. 1 good reason not to use magnets :) -

Sorry about that..Next time well hang onto it for the full 9 days before shipping :P Were trying real hard to push things out as quick as we can. Alot of times when we set the lead times, based on vendor estimates for say chrome plating, then our shipment arrives early, we do the happy dance... -

Since they were flat top cells, these could not be considered. :) There is a new higher capacity IMR option coming in January. As soon as I get more info I'll pass it along. -

True, we don't manufacture our own batteries, but I can confirm that the ProVari power 2500's were not trustfires :) -

Gator is correct and this is still the case. The AW high drain are the recommended cell to use. We tested A LOT of batteries and there are many reasons why the AW cells came out on top. Most of the protected batteries have a much higher internal resistance and the protection circuit on... -

Yes, please contact us if you have peeling issues. There was only a small batch of parts that shipped before we became aware of a issue with our chrome plater not processing them correctly and it has since been corrected. They are testing each one and all chrome models won't have this issue. :) -
