    Str8 I start with emery black compound and go thru three more and finish with white and no need for hand polish hope that helps

    Maybe the polish wasn't done well enough to hold the shine most items I polish seem to hold up very good I use professional equiptment and compounds maybe that's the difference

    Blackbird said it for me a little care on aluminum Stainless steel is a bit stronger and holds up longer
