    And yes it is a 0.2 ohm. I tested with the multimeter before I put it in and it read a bit higher but somehow it seemed to drop a lot after I burnt the heck out of the coil. Baking it to Lava red probably dropped the ohm a bit.

    Yeaaaaa. lol I think I'm getting there. I got it on 15W in Temp SS mode. at 145C temp setting and it seems good. This thing opens up a whole lot of ability to tweak it to perfect. Might take me months to find great settings. I went from a bicycle (Lavatube) to a Space Shuttle (Pico).

    Can someone explain the difference between temp and watt mode. I know watt mode how does temp work. As far as I know I didn't notice a temperature sensor in the coil so how the heck does it know the temp?

    Just put the notch coil in and was messing with it. I turned the Pico on for first time and hit the button and the dang thing was in temp mode and I think it dang near melted the coil. That thing was very bright red. Then it told me to press down. Need to get it into watt mode.

    First time cleaning the Merlin. Anyone have any suggestions on how to clean the deck? I would think there would have to be some way to get the bottom plate or deck off so that I can clean in the area inside the air slots.

    Yea, on my Lavatube now its a 1.7ohm and I normally set it at around 8W. And yes I have a external charger, its a Xtar charger. I have 3 1865 batteries they are kind of old, but 2 of them are 2000mah and the other is a 1600mah. I think those should work at the lower watt settings.

    Thanks I am almost out of liquid on my current build so once it runs dry and my other 2 batteries are charged Ill go build a new coil to use with the Pico. Can't wait to try it out. Will be my first coil under 1.2ohm that I'll get to use.

    Do I have to worry about that using kanthal wire or the notch coil that came with the Merlin? I am going to use that notch coil next when I rebuild it later today. I think it is like a .5ohm coil. Lavatube wouldn't work with it that low but I know the Pico will. Not sure what type of metal it is.

    Umm those of you using the Merlin with the pico 75w, I might have a few questions. My step up from the Lavatube to the Pico is like going from horse and buggy to a Corvette. What does the whole adjusting temperature thing do? Never heard of a setting like that for vaping.

    Wow Just opened the box of my new Istick Pico mod and very first thought that came to my head was, " Wow that thing is tiny, are you sure a 1860 battery will even fit that thing?" Lol. guess we'll see.

    Well the only reason I really inquired is If I am purchasing a product from a company that acts in a disrespectful way and rips off ideas or something, Then I will not purchase their products again. Was Augvape at fault?
