    I tested the resistance with the multimeter and the tank off of the mod. It came up at 0.9 minus the 0.1 lead resistance so it was 0.8 with it cooled. So the res is locked at correct amount.

    Just measured a piece of the ss wire. I took 4 inches and bent it so I knew where the 4 inch mark was. I hooked it up to multimeter and tested the ohms between the end and the 4 inch mark.     The mod is reading accurately on the resistance. I just tested the post and ground with my multimeter, and it came out at .8Ω. (I didn't remove the coil, I just tested the copper center pin and the ground) Also what ohms do you think it should come out to?

    should be 3mm I used a coil tool to make it and then just pulled it out to space it. I did a lot of dry burns to make sure it glowed right from center. Works great.

    Agree, Plus I can dry burn ss as much as I want without fear of oxidizing it. :) Not sure why it works at such low temps, but with the day, no, week I've been having I really really don't care. As long as it works I'm happy.

    Like a .8 ohm coil. Using 28ga ss. with like 3 or 4 wraps. I also have the airflow half shut. But I think it is like 350 to 380. Can't remember, but in class now. I'll upload pictures later.

    Well, I don't think I'll ever switch back to titanium. Maybe kanthal one day, but I don't even see why I would do that. SS produces the bast vape I've had and I have the temp way down at like 300 something. So I believe the temp readings are more accurate.

    I did, sometimes I cheat when I have to re-lock it. I will take cold draws on it without firing to cool the coil and then lock it when it gets close to the ohm range it was at.     I'll give that a try. Just tried it. At first it didn't work. In m1 mode I unlocked and relocked it and it said .76 Ω. Then I went to Ti and back to m1 and it was back at .56Ω. Tried it a second time and now in m1 mode it is locked at .81Ω. So I guess I'll see if it stays.

    The first 2 were in Ti mode, (I took several but noticed later that the ohms changed in a couple of them) and the last one was in M1 mode. I had just switched it from ti to m1.
