What are some good VV mid size devices that are regulated?

Just a quick comment that IMO there's a place for "stealthier" VV devices like - oh, I don't know - the Joyetch eGo-C Twist? (LOL) for a night on the town, on the go in general, or just hanging around. Smaller devices also reduce the "gawker" factor, as in "what's that, a dildo?" (there, I said...

    ohm's...mahs....volts....oh my!!

But I am, and I'm darn proud of it! **** Ok, something on-topic .... hmmmmm .... Well, I'm tired, so how about just one more pitch for variable voltage by virtue of the fact that in addition to all of its many other benefits, it allows you to maximize battery life by using the...

    ohm's...mahs....volts....oh my!!

Ah, OK, got it. Common area of confusion. Took me a few months to figure it out. Here's how I understand it: Let's use an example of a 2.0 ohm single coil and a 2.0 ohm dual coil at 3.7 volts (but get a VV Twist LOL) A KEY POINT is that a 2.0 ohm dual coil would use two 4.0 ohm coils wired...

    ohm's...mahs....volts....oh my!!

zoid, thanks for taking my last post so well. I just am very passionate about geting people off of cigarettes, for a whole lot of reasons, including my Dad dying from them and my best friend now in the process of doing the same. And I just put two and two together (6,643 posts, 2 1/2 year...

    ohm's...mahs....volts....oh my!!

It's hard to make Any Recommendation to people one way or another. Everyone has Different needs and Everyone is on a Different Budget. For me, it's pretty easy. Have to have a ciggie look-alike? Get a Volt. OK with something that doesn't look like the thing that's killing you? Get a Twist...

    ohm's...mahs....volts....oh my!!

Excellent, excellent point. All the more reason for me not being able to understand very well why someone would recommend a fixed-voltage device over a variable voltage one. I wish that people would stop recommending kGo's, e-Powers, or any other fixed voltage device to anyone just starting...

    Hello everyone

Hey, thanks for the heads-up about the CE3. Keep hearin' about 'em, haven't tried 'em, gonna get some. I think my "true love" is going to be the Bulli atomizer with about a 5-6 ohm coil at 6 volts or so. Did you watch my man Steve enjoying his Bulli? Not exactly sure just what he's vaping...

    Hello everyone

Hiya smitighe, welcome to the forum, and to your new healthier life! Hey, I don't know who told you to get a Twist, but it's a POS. No, it's not .... just a little inside joke, sorry about that. Actually, I take boatloads of abuse for recommending it so much. I have a lot of stuff, but I use...

HI, I'm a newbie; Please tell me I did OK

You did fine. You bought something, and you're vaping. Next I'd buy a couple of Joyetech eGo-C Twists for $22 each so you can see what variable voltage does for your vape. I have a lot of stuff, but 90% of my vaping is on a Twist with a Smoktech 3.5ml DCT tank fitted with a Boge 2.0 or 3.0...

This thread explains it all: http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/variable-voltage-mods-discussion/278373-volts-amps-ohms-explained-detail-single-dual-coil-atty-cartos.html and this thread goes into it quite a bit as well...

Could use some advice choosing an E-CIG.

Are any of their products variable voltage? I have long thought that variable voltage improves the vaping experience, thereby increasing the odds that a given person will prefer vaping over smoking. For that reason, I think variable voltage is particularly important for beginners, lest they...

volts/amps/ohms explained in detail on single and dual coil atty/cartos

I'm wondering how you might enjoy the vape on a single coil that is not LR, but rather a higher resistance that could take full advantage of higher voltage, like 7.2V. At 7 ohms, you'd have a little over 7 watts and a good amount of surface area, on a single coil that is immune from the...

Could use some advice choosing an E-CIG.

JM - I see only 3 "attachments" on your list - the CE4+ clearos. I strongly urge you to also get at least 2 Vivi Novas, 5 Smoktech 3.5ml DCT tanks, 25 Boge single coil XL-sized unpunched cartomizers (15 x 2.0 ohm, 10 x 3.0 ohm), two trim rings, and a plain clear drip tip. You will almost...

Kt - PLEASE read this thread http://www.e-cigarette-forum.com/forum/new-members-forum/314607-newbie-ive-read-lot-here-just-few-questions.html in its entirety. In it, I made the following post: [Username] - please DO NOT get any of those three [kGo, eGo., e-Power] I own all of them, and like...

volts/amps/ohms explained in detail on single and dual coil atty/cartos

There are several major points there with which I strongly disagree, and I'll comment in detail as soon as I can. Preview: " ....each section of a dual coil is seeing lower current, and actually heats up less than the single coil. The heat dissipation is the same, but is distributed over 4...

Ratman - I consider the Joyetech eGo-C Twist to be a must-buy no matter what else you have in your "arsenal". THE EGO TWIST IS A GAME CHANGER - YouTube Grimm Green Twist Game changer In addition to a few 650mah Twists ($22 each) I'd consider the Apollo SS VTube. The ProVari V2 is of course...
