Thanks Nautiboy - I'd love to hear about removing juice. I have the nJoy nPro e-cigs. And with the help of those YouTube vid's, I just poped the top on two cartomizers and refilled them! Much better results than I was getting with the condom method. And the suggestion (from the 3'rd vid) of...
Thanks for the reply, Helen. I think there is something "hinky" about the smokefreeonline batteries - maybe reversed polarity. So I plan to just give away those batteries if I can find someone who has that system/charger. I'll probably start locally (to avoid shipping), but may end up on the...
Thanks CES. How do you take the top off of a cartomizer? Is there a method I'm missing? (By the "top," I assume you mean the end that you draw on - not the threaded end that connects to the battery.) Mine seem pretty firmly stuck in there. Maybe "blank" cartomizers are more easily opened...
Hi All:
A week or two ago, someone here introduced me to the "condom method" of refilling cartomizers. That's really worked a lot better than just trying to drip a couple of drops into a used cartomizer. So I was wondering if there are other refill methods that I'm not aware of. (The condom...
Thanks for your reply, Dormouse. I think that you are right - it doesn't make sense to mess around with the off-brand stuff. Might as well just move on. Maybe I can find someone on my local craigslist who can use those batteries.
Hi All:
Like many, I started out buying several e-cigs and paying too much. Oh well, worth it to get off the analogs. And now that I found this forum, I'm shopping more wisely! But since I have several systems, I would like to get some life out of them.
I have a couple of batteries from...
I had a similar experience at first and believe it was the lung cleaning process. I think it's a good idea to discuss the switch to vapor with your doc. I did so with my GP and went so far as to make an appointment with a specialist/pulmonologist (ok, I can be a bit paranoid). Her opinion was...
Hi All - just thought I would chime in. I took the last week off of my day job to do a big plumbing project. It's been very hot in Washington DC this week, and this job has been hard and dirty - lots of triggers. Several days ago I had a friend over helping who smokes. That was no problem...
Do check out the "condom refill method" (videos on this forum or YouTube). Someone pointed me in that direction yesterday and it really works. You will eventually have to replace the cartos (they will start to not work all that well and taste bad). But you get a lot more life out of them...
Thanks for the great suggestions, everyone. I'm tempted to go for a big bottle (to keep costs down). But you are probably right about getting some samplers before making a big commitment.
Thanks Noodoogy. As I said earlier, it may just be that ignorance is bliss. But I am pretty satisfied with the vapor I get from any of these brands. I just have some broken hardware (recharger) and the supplies are too expensive ($55 atomizers).
I have been refilling my nJoy carto's by...
Thanks Davelog - you're probably right. But if I can find some compatable atomizers (for less that $55 each!) maybe I can learn to mix juice while I'm learning a little more about hardware.
Thanks Fool - I know that's good advice. And it's what I will do in the end. But I've learned so much in the past few days (reading this forum) that I kinda want to hold off and play out what I've got for a while (and learn more). Who knows, maybe "mods" (hadn't heard of them before) or...
Hi davelog:
Thanks for the reply! I actually have 3 brands:
-------GreenNicotine - I have two working batteries and a working charger. I didn't really like their cartomizers and they were quite expensive. They don't sell an atomizer. I believe they would take a KR808D-1 atomizer...
Hi all:
I just joined this forum earlier this week. What a great source of info.! I'm really glad to have found this place.
The good news is that I started using e-cigs in January and have not had an analog since my first vape. I feel great about that.
The bad news (which I have learned...
