TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

So, on paper it looks like NiFe52, right? But in practice, it's not working like NiFe52 at all. So, where do we go from here?

Help - Steam Engine And Real Life Coil Specs Don't Match

Like the rest above said, get a mech, preferably with multiple batteries in parallel, and give quick controlled pulses until some of the nastier hotspots are worked out at least. Be careful, and pay attention to what you're doing, you'll be draining more current that your batteries should be...

YiHi SX Mini M TCR Values List

TCRs are different for certain materials at certain temps. The easiest example of this is Ni200. If you Google it's TFR curve or pull it up on steam engine you'll see it is not linear. You should use a TCR in the range of temperatures you intend to limit at.

You just might make a believer out of me, if this is working as intended.

Let it be known that I am not one to shout the wonders of TC from the rooftops. The concept is amazing and exactly what the industry needs, but almost all my experiences were garbage in the performance department, whether is was prebuilt, built by me or built by someone else. I was having great...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

Free download from evolv website, you don't even need a DNA200 to download the software

    I do Fused 26, 34 wrap, 5 wraps *tight* around a 3mm bit.

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

I didn't word it the best, but gutting a mod like that was my intention from the start. Was just looking for feedback on the mod to go for. Most likely either SXK or Reliant if what I'm looking at (price really isn't a factor since I'm looking for this to be the relative end all for what I need...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

I've got half a mind to buy a mod that regulates decently in TC with SS and use the chip inside for a mod I'm making for myself. Don't want to have to work 2 batteries into it for a DNA200, because the mod will also be bottom fed (would make for a *huge* mod). Any opinions on which chip?

    Titanium wire, vaping and safety

Decided to get the hell over it, and broke out the titanium I had left untouched since it arrived. Did some claptons with it, 28ga Unkamen Ti core with 34ga Kanthal wrap. Did a dual coil in a Tugboat V2, 6 spaced wraps around a 3mm bit (next time, I'll go for 2.5mm, the spring effect is pretty...

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

So, are we more or less not worried about, or at least accepting the risk of, TC with stainless steel wire? I remember hearing some craziness about the Chromium in SS doing funky things. Personally, from the stuff I've read, I'm going to vape it, just wanted to hear what you guys all thought...

    Titanium wire, vaping and safety

If only there were a way to make Titanium work on SS mesh. using it generally necessitates a dry burn, which kind of excludes Titanium and Nickel, but mesh stands the most to gain from TC in terms of enjoyment and consistency IMO.

TC beyond Ni200: Nickel Purity, Dicodes; Ti, SS, Resistherm NiFe30; Coefficient of Resistance

GOtta say, I love the work you guys are doing. If I had the time/means, I would help. So, do we have any idea on the TCR/TFR on the Alloy 120 that is available in the US? resistancewire.com lists theirs as "Alloy 120" with a million other names, to include Nifethal 70 - Want to see what the...

Anyone managed to find a mod with the accurate SXK chip?

Hello all, The title kinda says it all. I'm looking for a mod with the SXK chip in it. Nickel Purity is a must, as well as the most accurate method of resistance readings they have. Would prefer the 60w, but not the end of the world if it isn't. I've got a ton of Alloy 120 (like the 300m...

Who loves or hates their e Vic

I always had an issue with the temperature seeming wonky, and way off what I set it at. It was the lone outlier in my range of TC mods, it didn't produce the same results as any of my others, while still having the same settings. As a regular wattage mod? Great, no issues.

    Is my battery compatible?

I will say that I've run almost every variety of Ego battery at 1ohm(sometimes slightly lower), but after looking up what batteries are actually inside the Ego batteries and finding that they were incapable of providing the amperage required for 1ohm and lower coils, I stopped doing it. No need...

Just got the Provari Provape 3 .. please tell me how to use it?

Like Bunnykiller said, I suggest you go watch PBusardo's video on the P3 on Youtube; he does a very in-depth explanation with HD video on how to operate the device. If you still have problems after watching it, post back and we'll see what we can do.

    Counterfy Istick?

Agreed. ELeaf hasn't changed anything since they've made, to the best of my knowledge, and a couple of the models on Fasttech don't look like authentic ISticks. See what you can do to get yourself an authentic unit. As far as the resistance bouncing, could be a faulty connection anywhere from...

Leaking and no vapour from kanger mini subohm tank

Take the whole thing to bits, clean it, and put it all back together, ensuring that all seals are seated properly (not crushed in there) and especially make sure that you really screw that coil head down or you're gonna have a bad time. If anything looks even remotely suspect, throw it out and...
