Rayon: Full rope, half rope baaaah, means nothing. Not a good point of reference. The rope thickness varies so much in my 500 ft box of Sally's that sometimes I'm peeling off strands and sometimes adding strands to wick 3mm coils. Safe to say, MOST peeps continue to underwick with rayon. In this...

.12 ohms at 40w draws 18.2 amps .12 ohms at 75w draws 25 amps We are asking a lot from our little 18650s

Standing voltage varies with charge level. The sag voltages however will definitely begin worsening with batt aging. As the batt ages it's internal res increases so it's ability to maintain standing voltage during heavy current loads will diminish. If the dna75 were a dual parallel batt setup we...

I have three dna75s, all lavaboxes and they have all done the same thing. After a good cell drops to around 1/3 on the display I get a weak battery message. Much sooner with worn cells. Standing voltage?

It not just yours, dna75s are battery suck'n pigs. I use one as my morning and evening indoor rig and run a dual coil 25g .120 ohm NiFe52 alloy build at 65w. I'm lucky to get 4mils vaped before draining my Sony VTC5As. In comparison I can knock down 10 mils using the same batt in my mech...

Bolt it down? You mean like they're supposed to? Laughable! I've moved dozens of safes in my residential construction career and have only found a couple that were secured with mounting hardware. Sadly it's "Safe" to say, most don't bother. I find that most put them in their Mbed closet (the...

I made one of those swing down pistol trays built into an end table for a customer. Activated by sliding a magnet against the side of the table top instead of that card shown in the vid. The magnet was epoxied to the bottom of a coffee cup. The only downside was you'd have to dump your coffee in...

I'm not a bad shot by any means but in a short range situation I feel 12g 00 buck is more accurate than a pistol. I've never had the urge to carry. I can see why some do though.

Gun safes, meh. If I'm at home my sawed off 12g is my "safe". If I'm not home they'd just wheel my safe out on a dolly and open it later, like they did to my cousin. A key locked closet is all I use, just to keep children out.

Maybe the wrap could be a little tighter Mike but with clapton wrap wire that large the wire will always open up spaces when you wrap your final coil. 36 or 38 gauge is all I use for claptoning. The 38 is hard to see even while wearing a jeweler's visor. 36 isn't too bad. Also, the drill and...

Coils coils coils! I love it! Lol Here's one of my rules for builds, whenever possible I don't wind coils longer than 1.75 times the ID. Doesn't matter what atty or wire, claptoned or not. Longer coils have too many shortcomings....errr uhhh, you know what I mean. Its too difficult...
